@BooneW@AlUCanEatShrimp No, that's still launch - on reentry the boosters don't fire until much closer to ground (about 20 seconds from touchdown). Based on when you posted, guessing you saw it around 8ish minutes post lift off (total burn of both stages is usually just shy of 10 minutes).
@AlUCanEatShrimp@BooneW Looks like a Space X Falcon 9 - there was a launch in FL last night at 9:12pm that flew a NE trajectory up the eastern seaboard. Good stuff!
@AaluxxMyth@TheRealDuckYde@0xTurbamulta@HooriRn I assume the protocol buys will likely wind down over time (hypothetical 10 years from now protocol owns 150m TCY, if the daily yield goes to buy TCY, price of TCY would become disconnected from true 10% share of earnings)?
@TheRealDuckYde@AaluxxMyth@HooriRn Unclaimed TCY revenue is used by the protocol to acquire more TCY for the protocol. Daily, the proceeds from those TCY dividends are used to then buy more TCY for the protocol. Essentially, providing daily buy pressure from protocol revenues.
@iceman00008@THORChain I haven't had a chance to read through the entire doc, but we can top up our LP a bit at current ratios to essentially DCA down? Or are they already locked via a snapshot?
@therunetard@THORChain Lender here - I'm happy to wait to be made whole in native L1 collateral. Also, like the idea of creating a tokenozed debt market for those impatient, just want to ensure the token sales can't inadvertently game the system (i.e. selling in big position for many small).
@jpthor How would the tokenized debt purchased be subject to the lottery system payback?
I.e. biggest loan holder sells debt at $0.25/$1, if I purchase $1,000 of their claim, are my lottery odds at a small claim or original debt level?
This could game the system if reordered.
@MacroScope17 Minor conspiracy theory - but what-if the ETFs are a plot by the government to pool as much BTC as possible under one confiscatable umbrella - a la with gold in 1933 - so if BTC became a true existential threat, they could sweep it to their coffers?
@Saoirse1776@JSeyff They'd have to already be hedged on the price and size, which may be why price has been largely unaffected from the last two day of outflows.
@CryptoVertex@Rob80949294@Ledger@lifiprotocol I say this as somebody with skin in the game -currently underwater in a single sided non-RUNE LP (mistimed my contribution and now waiting on lending caps to hopefully burn through that 20M RUNE availability and get a nice spike)!
@CryptoVertex@Rob80949294@Ledger@lifiprotocol I agree, it's frustrating, but measuring any alt on a long enough timeframe denominated in $BTC is going to show small periods of boom and an inevitable long decline. It comes down to timing of investment in alts vs. holding a bag of $BTC for the long term.
@Vshan_Crypto @ki_young_ju Due to the "large consensus" - in my opinion, it's the reason we likely won't dip that low. Market loves to cause max pain to the most people.
