@Yoonothing_ Depends on your role and skills, but it's a Good decision to get shortlisted for interview, as now days it's hard to get even interview calls with 90 days notice period.
Sometimes, good intentions can still send the wrong message.
I watched the full viral video of Minister Keerthana's inspection at the government school. To be clear, I completely understand the intention behind the visit. Encouraging government school students to speak English confidently is a good initiative, and improving their communication skills is important.
However, I think one small moment in that video could have been handled differently.
The student was surrounded by cameras, media personnel, officials, and a minister she had never met before. From a psychological perspective, it is completely normal for a child to hesitate in such a situation. It wasn't necessarily because she didn't know the answer—it could simply have been nervousness.
In fact, when her teacher asked the same question, she answered. She also answered the next question about her father's profession. At the same time, many children naturally hesitate to talk about their parents' occupation in front of strangers and television cameras. That is something we should understand instead of judging.
The only part that didn't sit well with me was the comment that "If this question had been asked to the last-bench students, they wouldn't have answered either." I felt that remark was unnecessary. Every student is different, and nervousness should never be mistaken for inability.
I also saw the Minister's clarification stating that the viral video was recorded by the media and not by her team. While that clarification is understandable, I don't think it completely addresses the concern.
The inspection was conducted under the Minister's supervision. Whether the video was recorded by the media or someone else, everyone present had a responsibility to ensure that school children were not put in an uncomfortable situation or made the subject of social media debates.
School children are emotionally sensitive. A few seconds of a viral video can affect a child's confidence for years. We must be extremely careful while involving students in public interactions.
I respectfully request our People's CM Vijay and the School Education Department to look into how this video was allowed to circulate and ensure that such incidents do not happen again. School inspections should focus on identifying problems and improving education—not unintentionally making children the centre of public criticism.
Let's protect our children first. Their confidence is far more important than any viral video.
@Keerthana4VNR Unga kelvi modhala thappu, after the other teacher completed the sentence she was able to answer, secondly what is the need for that question... Many children would not be comfortable to answer that question about father's occupation , accept your mistake and take accountability

@genZ_Tigers True, western la many broke and those who get abused in childhood take this route, but later they realise it , come out of it and live a normal life. There are lots of testimonials about them.
These are mental illness and needs psychological counseling. Transgender is the real problem and needs necessary support in the society, others should step back and go to a good psychiatrist.
Please read 🙏🏼
India’s total population was around 1.2 billion in 2011. In 2026, it is around 1.5 billion, which is a growth rate of about 20%.
In 2011, the transgender population was around 5 lakh. Now it is estimated to be around 2 million, which is a growth of around 300%.
To understand this, 15 years ago there was approximately 1 transgender for every 2,500 people.
Now, based on current estimates, there is approximately 1 transgender for every 750 people.
If this trend continues, then in the next 15 years there could be 1 transgender for every 100 people.
And it doesn't stop here, then there is high chance that every home will have one rainbow in future.
We are not against transgenders. We are against encouraging them.
If we want to see them as normal person, then they should also behave like normal person like how few are became doctor, police officers.
Please don’t encourage this. 🙏🏼
When it touches Your/our home, the pain is different.
Even the animals join only with the opposite gender. These people are against nature and against peace.

During an interview at a leading product company, I met an HR professional who was trans. Initially, I didn't realize she was trans I simply saw a well-dressed, confident, courteous, and professional person.

Respect and acceptance don't come from loud displays, shocking outfits, or seeking attention. They come from character, mutual understanding, and treating every person with dignity.
