I want to know who at Drop Site wrote this line: "Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez has introduced an amendment that could effectively halt all offensive and defensive U.S. military aid to Israel under current conditions". It's a lie. The author knows it's a lie, even with the conditional "under current conditions". First of all it's a lie because it has zero chance of passing, but more importantly it's a lie because even if it did pass, as the Drop Site thread itself clarifies in later posts, it would not "effectively halt all offensive and defensive US military aid to Israel", because it would simply require Congress to vote for it and everyone knows, including author who wrote that line, that Congress will vote for it, as it always has.
So why did the person who wrote that line as the beginning of its thread with the intention to deceive readers into thinking that AOCIA has proposed a full arms embargo on Israel, deliberately choose to lie to their readership? I think that's a very important question that needs to be answered.
If there ever was any smoking gun evidence that the Israeli-Lebanese agreement is nothing but a cover for Israel to sabotage the US-Iran MOU and subjugate Lebanon under Israeli dominion, it is von der Leyen's endorsement of the agreement.
Australia’s housing obsession is one of its greatest weaknesses.
Rising house prices are not a sign of prosperity.
What they actually tell you is that more money is being borrowed from the banking sector to buy homes.
The cause of rising house prices is rising household debt, and that is unproductive.
House prices are now five times more expensive than consumer goods compared to 1970. We should never have allowed that to happen.
Housing should not be an asset.
It is not something you should profit out of. It is something you should live in.
The people who really benefit from rising house prices are real estate agents and property developers, not the families who live in them.
We are paupers living inside castles. Paying a fortune on the mortgage, a fortune on private schools, and out of the remainder, just trying to live.

Marjane Satrapi made a career out of proliferating orientalist western caricatures of her own people. While Satrapi cashed in on racist campaigns thinly veiled by anti-patriarchal rhetoric calling for 'regime change' in Iran, she never once used her platform to speak out against the ongoing existential threats presented by Western powers against Palestinian, Lebanese, Iranian and ALL other Muslim women in West Asia. It's a fitting end for someone who remained blithely silent through three years of genocide in the region that raised her to literally die of grief over the loss of one gangly Swedish white guy.
Our leaders start illegal forever wars; they support a genocide in Gaza; they support the illegal war on Iran and attacks on nuclear facilities; they partner with ISIS leaders in Syria; they toppled the government in Kiev and allied with fascist militias; they roll out the red carpet for the Taliban, etc. But the political-media establishment has convinced the public that diplomacy with Russia is unacceptable, which conflicts with our "values". Indeed, the moral thing for our political-media establishment is to boycott diplomacy and claim weapons are the path to peace while hundreds of thousands of young men perish on the battlefield. We cannot have any discussion or debate because anyone who criticises these policies is smeared, censored, cancelled, and possibly even sanctioned. Ad hominem attacks and intimidation are the new norm; recognising competing security interests of the great powers is a treasonous effort to "legitimise" and support the enemy; negotiations are appeasement; and war has become a virtuous struggle against evil. Has Europe been hijacked by ideological warmongers?
The dominant strategy for corporations is to commit shady practices if the benefits outweigh the cost.
Mislead consumers, make billions, pay millions in fines.
Net a profit.
The dominant strategy for consumer law authorities, is to look the other way;
Wait for corporations to mislead consumers,
pretend outrage,
fine them in the name of consumer protection.
Net a profit.
This is a circular practice with shared objectives between corporations and regulators.
It’s a smart way to take more from consumers under a clever scheme.
The money shifts from consumers to corporations who then pay a small fee for the regulators who arrive conveniently after the fact.
This is literally by design.
That money is not going back to consumers.
It never does.
Consumers have one option.
Aggressive boycotting.
'Hondurasgate': audios revelan operación geopolítica contra México y Colombia.

This ad by Obama and Mark Hamill is a lie.
Democrats might pose as agents for change but it's all an act to capture and kill revolutionary movements.
Ultimately, Democrats are no different from Republicans in that both parties serve the empire, not the people or the resistance.
Recognising the reality that the war against Iran was a failure, that the proxy war against Russia has been lost, and that the economic war against China has backfired is smeared and censored in decadent Europe as being “pro-Iran,” “pro-Russia,” and “pro-China.” Being “pro-West” demands embracing delusion by putting on a blindfold and marching toward the cliff. It is obligatory to repeat dishonest chants about democracy and human rights as they burn down the Middle East, fight to the last Ukrainian, risk nuclear war with Russia, and make an enemy out of China. All of these states could have been key partners. Reality is believed to be a social construction, and if they only commit to narratives about the world as they wish it were, then it will come true.
"One ought to recognize that the present political chaos is connected with the decay of language, and that one can probably bring about some improvement by starting at the verbal end" - George Orwell
Billionaires absolutely steal their wealth by exploiting the labor of workers, hoarding the natural resources of the planet, and buying off both parties to rig the laws in their favor. This is why the only solution is to seize their wealth and redistribute it back to the people.
Professor Clara Mattei just gave a masterclass on the coercion of capitalism:
“Capitalism has been imposed upon us by a tiny elite since the beginning. Liberal democracy is really only a superficial facade. When people rise up against the capitalist system liberals and fascists are best friends to implement austerity.”
She wasn’t done teaching! She also points out capitalism itself isn’t natural and that it took control of the world using violence by excluding people from the land. Prior to capitalism forcing itself onto the world indigenous cultures used a much different method to organize their societies:
“If you look at all the indigenous cultures it was based on circular, horizontal organization through councils. It was about caring for the commons and caring for nature rather than extracting.”
Professor Mattei just gave the world a much needed wake up call with this interview and outlined the need for humanity to look to its indigenous roots for how to chart a sustainable path forward!
58,000 Americans died in Vietnam.
Over 3,000,000 Vietnamese died.
And for fifty years, American culture has centered the grief of the 58,000 while treating the 3,000,000 as a backdrop.
As scenery. As context. As "the Vietnam War experience."
They built a wall in Washington with American names on it.
A beautiful wall. A solemn wall.
Good. Mourn your dead.
But understand what that wall does not say.
It does not say why they died.
It does not say what they were doing there.
It does not say what was done in their name to the people whose country it actually was.
It does not mention My Lai, where American soldiers massacred an entire village, old men, women, children, babies, and the officer who ordered it served three years of house arrest before being pardoned.
Three years. House arrest. Pardoned.
For five hundred people murdered in a ditch.
It does not mention the 2.7 million acres of Vietnamese forest doused in Agent Orange, a chemical weapon disguised as herbicide, that is still deforming Vietnamese children today.
Not in 1970. Not in 1985. Today.
Children born in 2020 with bodies twisted by a war their grandparents fought.
And the chemical companies that made it are still in business.
Still profitable.
Still un-prosecuted.
And yet they send us human rights reports.
They grade our democracy.
They warn us about our behavior.
The audacity is so enormous it becomes almost impressive.
Almost.
Tucker Carlson humiliates a British media shill for her pro-Israel stance, and for attempting to get him to say he is a zionist.
This zio hack took the IDF tour of Gaza, and claimed what happened (genocide, a word she did not use) was justified, and the negative pr was 'bad for Israel'.
