#Ethiopia: More than 40 Orthodox Christians have reportedly been massacred, and centuries-old churches have been burned by Oromo Islamist militants, who are alleged to be supported by the Abiy Ahmed regime, in the East Arsi Zone of Ethiopia’s Oromia Region since May 31, 2026.
The West shamelessly sanitizes rigged elections, now applauding Ethiopia’s fraudulent vote. This cowardly betrayal backs a brutal regime destroying regional stability. The West can coddle tyrants all they want, but the suffering Ethiopian people will crush this tyranny soon.

The slaughter of innocent Christians continues unabated in the Arsi area of Oromia region in 🇪🇹. Clergy are being killed, churches burned, and tens of thousands of civilians displaced from their homes. Yet the violence persists with little accountability. The world must not look away while entire communities suffer in silence.

Influencers visiting Ethiopia: don’t mistake VIP tours, luxury hotels, blocked roads, and curated hospitality for reality.
Behind the smoke and mirrors are war, mass displacement, and a deepening human rights crisis.
Ask hard questions. Don’t be used for propaganda.
Ethiopia, Africa’s second-most populous nation, stands deeply divided, facing violent ethnic conflicts, restrictions on free speech and crackdowns on dissent.
As the country heads toward a national election, the leader once celebrated as a healer is now viewed by critics as the main driver of these schisms. https://t.co/spNIFvefxi
The fake reform by abiy is not only cosmetic it’s also militant. The outcome show itself that more than 50% of the country can’t hold this sham election. @AbiyAhmedAli@AdanechAbiebie@AddisAbabaCity1

When Ethiopia's Abiy Ahmed took office he promised a historic transition to democracy." Instead, "at the polls next week voters will be offered no real choice. Nor is there any reason to trust that [he] will step down after two terms, as he once promised." https://t.co/hoe95WFqqs
Ethiopia: Reports that election scheduled for 1 June already completed in some polling areas in secret by the regime, without the participation of citizens. Only a ceremonial photo still to be taken
While the Ethiopian Government is preparing for its Sham election in various fronts in Amhara its forces have continued to get decimated in hundreds and the rest are being captured in droves on a daily basis.
Only in these past two weeks the Fano forces have managed to unalive 1 brigadier general and 4 colonels in West Oromia and Amhara.
Moreover the Fano forces have declared a week long road closures, except for emergency vehicles, in the entire region which is in effect starting two days ago and as a result reports are showing vehicular activity has come to a screeching halt almost every where in the region.
Ethiopia votes Monday June 1st. But with hundreds of documented human rights violations in just the last 5 months, drone strikes, sexual violence, abductions, can it truly be called a free and fair election?
Here's what the regime doesn't want you to know 🧵👇
