I'm honored that my staff and I received the 'Best of Constituent Service' award from the Congressional Management Foundation.
This award recognizes "exceptional dedication to serving constituents through effective casework. It highlights a congressional office's commitment to resolving individual issues, providing personalized support, and ensuring that constituents receive the assistance they need." Winning this category reflects outstanding attention to detail, empathy, and persistence in solving constituent problems.
Dana, Stephanie, Catarina, Kian, Ishaan, and Michael do a tremendous job for the Massachusetts Fourth, and I'm pleased that they are recognized for it.
We are deeply concerned by the escalating activity of an extreme anti-Zionist group in Boston which has taken responsibility for last night's vandalism of the MA State House with paint and feces. This is the same group that targeted an MIT professor and lab earlier this month. The ADL Center on Extremism is tracking this group and we are in touch with law enforcement. This threatening vandalism must be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.

This is deeply concerning and totally
unacceptable. Acts of violence and intimidation have no place in our communities.
We stand with our Jewish neighbors against antisemitism. Everyone deserves to live, pray and do business without fear in Massachusetts.https://t.co/ur8pOgdTrf
Our statement about today's vandalism of the Jewish-owned Kosher grocery store, The Butcherie, in Brookline, MA. Holding a Jewish business accountable for the situation in the Middle East is antisemitic, plain and simple and is another example of radical anti-Israel activity resulting in violence against the Jewish community.
Agudath Israel of America is devastated by the horrific antisemitic terror attack last night when a man killed two employees of the Israeli embassy as they were leaving the @AJCGlobal Young Diplomats reception at the @CapJewishMuseum in Washington, D.C. We offer our heartfelt prayers for the victims and their grieving families.
Since the October 7th Hamas massacre, antisemitism has surged across the country. This attack is a chilling realization of the calls to “globalize the intifada”— a slogan that has been disturbingly normalized, especially on college campuses that is a call is for nothing less than the hate-filled, cold-blooded murder of Jews, young and old, around the world simply because they are Jewish.
We are grateful to @POTUS and his administration for their swift and unequivocal condemnation and commitment to ensuring the safety of the Jewish community, and to the @TheJusticeDept, @FBI, and local law enforcement for their rapid response. We urge that the perpetrator be swiftly brought to justice and prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.
@cindycreem@BostonJCRC@MACAPEInc Thank you so much, Leader Creem, for meeting with the Jewish day school leaders today! We are grateful for all you do!
So excited to see this announcement from BPS. Universal school meals should be available to all children regardless of religious dietary needs. Thank you @wutrain and BPS for your leadership!
BPS served our first halal and kosher meals today, and they'll be available across the District by April 22. Students observing Ramadan now may request meals to take home at the end of the day from their Cafe Manager.

Great to be at the Mayor's State of the City Address last night along with members of the Boston Orthodox Jewish community. Thank you @MayorWu for your strong leadership!
I was asked how Israel should respond to anger on the Arab Street. My response – if Israel had let Arab popular opinion dictate its strategy in 1947; 1967; 1973, it would have been destroyed.
Israel should pursue its mission: rescue the hostages, destroy Hamas, and help architect just post-war governance for Gaza.
Terrorist attacks against Israel have been followed by a dangerous spike in anti-Jewish incidents. Threats against students, vitriol online, and acts of hate against Jews around the world—antisemitism in all its forms—is wrong.
Thank you to Boston City Councilor @LizBreadon for the mtg Sunday night @ShalohHouse with the Jewish community. We appreciated the opportunity to discuss public safety, family housing, and opportunities for community engagement.
Thank you to the Consuls General of Israel and Germany and the elected officials who visited the Holocaust exhibit at @KolRambam today. We are grateful for your commitment to fighting present-day antisemitism.
