Penjelasan
Faktanya Anggota Komite Nasional Kejadian Ikutan Pasca Imunisasi (Komnas KIPI), Dr. Arif Nur Muhammad Ansori, mengatakan efek samping vaksin Covid-19 memang pernah dilaporkan, seperti miokarditis pada vaksin mRNA dan gangguan pembekuan darah pada vaksin vektor adenovirus. Namun, efek tersebut umumnya muncul beberapa hari setelah vaksinasi, bukan bertahun-tahun kemudian. Klaim bahwa kematian pelari dan pendaki disebabkan vaksin tidak dapat dibenarkan tanpa pemeriksaan medis.
Menurut Arif, kematian saat berolahraga dapat dipicu berbagai faktor, seperti penyakit jantung yang belum terdiagnosis, dehidrasi, heat stroke, gangguan elektrolit, atau kelelahan berat. Sementara pada pendaki, kondisi seperti kekurangan oksigen dan cuaca ekstrem juga dapat menjadi penyebab. Ia menegaskan bahwa orang yang telah pulih dari efek samping ringan vaksin tetap dapat beraktivitas dan berolahraga seperti biasa. Guru Besar Fakultas Kedokteran UGM, Prof. Dr. dr. Denny Agustiningsih, menyampaikan penelitian menunjukkan aktivitas fisik tetap aman dilakukan setelah vaksinasi dan bahkan dapat membantu meningkatkan respons antibodi. Ia menambahkan, kematian saat berolahraga umumnya berkaitan dengan gangguan jantung,
Kesimpulan
Para ahli menjelaskan efek samping serius vaksin sangat jarang terjadi, umumnya muncul dalam beberapa hari setelah vaksinasi. Adapun penyebab kematian saat berolahraga atau mendaki harus dipastikan melalui pemeriksaan medis. Jadi, unggahan berisi klaim “vaksin covid-19 jadi penyebab kematian pelari dan pendaki” merupakan konten yang menyesatkan (misleading content).
