Honorable Secretary of State @SecRubio and President of the 2015 National Assembly @Dinorahfiguera We welcome your productive meeting and the strong U.S. support for a peaceful, stable and enduring democratic transition in Venezuela. This historic opportunity must include genuine reconciliation and the restoration of rights for all sectors.
On behalf of the ≈23,000 former PDVSA workers (Comunidad Petrolera) unjustly dismissed in 2002-2003 — now aged 60 to 83 — we have previously submitted detailed letters (July 23, August 12 and subsequent follow-ups) requesting attention to longstanding labor and humanitarian issues: pensions, health coverage and outstanding liabilities.
We propose a Comprehensive Phased Reparation Plan funded exclusively from industry recovery (not U.S. taxpayers). Including these experienced professionals in transition working groups would strengthen democracy, heal society and accelerate oil-sector recovery.
We respectfully request acknowledgment and consideration of these points in the ongoing talks. Full letters and contact details available via X: @petroamigosvzla

Many thanks you for your continued commitment to the Venezuelan people.
