Turns out designing a dotmap for light mode is way harder than dark mode. Everything looks washed out. The dots blend into the background and the visited countries lose their pop.
Inspired by @JPEGuin’s Binge shuffle mode, I made my own, with a twist. Still not where I want it to be, but it’s good enough to share.

@AurelienWeiss Thanks, tbh I’ve never payed that much attention to ASO until now. It’s kinda cool to see that even without doing so my app is doing not as bad as I expected.
@Altawesomeee It’s kinda tradition for me to mostly redesign an app for every major version, look at what worked and what didn’t, and change things. Since this is a tv app I kinda felt there was way more fun things to do with posters and animations. And well, I kinda got carried away.

After months of work, my new app is finally available to preorder on the Mac App Store. It's called Kickstart, and it has just one job: to help indie app developers make more money on the App Store. How does it do that? Let me explain…
I built a chonkier, Apple TV-inspired action menu that feels responsive and substantial!
Notes:
– The highlighted row gets magnified and moves slightly with touch
– Spring-loads on long-press, or immediately if you drag
– Stretches and rubberbands if you pull past the bottom

Introducing Loom.
Loom is a networking framework for Apple devices. It makes it incredibly easy to build apps that have multiple devices communicate with each other.
- Peer to peer WiFi direct support
- Local network discovery
- Unlock a Mac remotely
- The same amazing relay system that MirageKit has
- iCloud trust + iCloud sharing for friends and family
- General purpose
