Every year the same promotion crisis returns, batch after batch.
Ad-hoc promotions are buckets under the leak. The 4th Cadre Review is the roof repair — and the roof has leaked for 8+ years.

An institution’s strength is rflctd not only in its authrity, but in the fairnes with which it treats those who srv it. When other CRC take less than a yr & CSS waits 8+ years, fairnes can't be ignored.

A promotion or a review can be delayed — but 8+ years isn't delay, it's a system condition.
2015 ASOs — 10 yrs. 2018 SOs — due 1 July 2026. USs→DS — 12+ yrs.
How long can a career system stay frozen?

Abrupt supply of the png gas between 7.30 to 9.30 pm ( mehrauli). Sometimes it comes many times not. Lodged complain 3 times in last 6 days. No solution. Really sucks. cc rep replied that engineer would visit. No visit nd complain is closed. Stuk with png no solution.

2014-batch assistant section officers (ASOs) have been demanding their long-pending promotion.

It’s over 10 years now but several ASOs from the 2014 batch are still waiting for their first promotion.

These ASOs are part of the Central Secretariat Service (CSS), a civil service under the Government of India

चाहे अनुभाग अधिकारी के पद पर रिक्तियों की हजारों की संख्या में भरमार है। @DoPTGoI फिर भी पात्र #Jaago_DoPT_Jaago को पदोन्नति देने से कर रही इन्कार है। #CSSASO2013 के सभी अधिकारी हुए निराशा के शिकार है।
Ad-hoc पदोन्नति देना ही सबसे अच्छा उपचार है।

There are many solutions to a problem when there is will to do and similarly there could be many ifs and buts if not interested. CSS Officers (ASOs 3013 Batch) are demanding their due, not anything in access.

ASO of 2013 batch is eligible for promotion to SO w.e.f. 01.07.2022. 1700 posts of SOs are vacant in CSS. Eligible Employees requesting @DoPTGoI since July, 222. No action taken by DoPT till date. Will these 1700 posts be kept vacant for years or what?

Why would @DoPTGoI keep 45% (1624) sanctioned posts (3640) of Section Officers indefinitely vacant when it can easily fill 67.50% vacant posts by promoting all eligible #Jaago_DoPT_Jaago (1097) on adhoc basis?There is not any convincing reasons? Well neither has DoPT. @PMOIndia

What can be more unfortunate than withholding up of ur promotion request by same Department (@DoPTGoI ) who is currently running a massive employment campaign to fill existing vacancies & has also been asked by @PMOIndia to create new jobs.
