Pi has released several technical updates to KYC and Mainnet migration processes that address specific KYC application corner cases, improve verification processes, and help eligible Pioneers who were previously unable to progress.

KYC and Mainnet migration involve many different checks designed to allow genuine Pioneers to progress while preventing bad actors, bots and those with policy violations.

While most Pioneers move through these processes continuously, certain groups can become stuck because of specific corner cases that require additional evaluation or custom technical solutions.

The transition from Testnet to the next phase of the Awarizon ecosystem will be strongly determined by community participation, network activity, and ecosystem readiness.

Our current Testnet timeline is up to 6 months, but this is not necessarily a fixed waiting period. The timeline may change based on meaningful participation across key areas of the ecosystem, including:

✅Network validation and validator participation
✅NFT activity and ecosystem adoption
✅DEX usage and liquidity development
✅Token creation and smart contract deployment
✅Developer activity and application building
✅Network transactions and overall on-chain engagement

On our end, we want to move sooner rather than later. However, the goal is not simply to reach a date on the calendar—we want the network to demonstrate real participation and readiness.

After Testnet

Once the network reaches the required milestones, we can begin preparing for the transition toward:

🔹Testnet completion and final network evaluation
🔹Genesis and validator transition
🔹Ecosystem snapshot and contributor recognition
🔹Mainnet launch
🔹$RIZ Token Generation Event (TGE)
🔹Post-TGE ecosystem expansion

The more meaningful participation we see across the ecosystem, the stronger the case for accelerating the transition.

In short: 6 months is our current maximum target, not necessarily the date we are waiting for. If the community, network, and ecosystem demonstrate sufficient readiness earlier, we want to move forward sooner.
