Highly recommended.

My thoughts re: low-risk @NCCN guideline PCa AS change removing "preferred". Is removing preferred really going to change clinical practice? I doubt it. But is this a lost opportunity to improve practice paradigms? yes... See my thread below.

- there is much discussion regarding tours of mesh repair (splitting mesh vs. laying flat)
- we need a hernia repair registry to understand what works and what doesn’t
- the causes for orchalgia post hernia repair remain unclear
@RACSurgeons@USANZUrology#RACS21
GenSurg advice re: mesh and RARP
- Avoid intraperitoneal exposed mesh
- Mesh repair better performed by surgeons doing higher number of procedures
- No hard & fast rule about approach to repair (MIS vs. open)
- Don’t fix asymptomatic hernias
@USANZUrology#RACS21
Lymph node yield post mesh repair associated with lower lymph node yield.
Preoperative imaging may allude to which patients are likely to develop post-RARP hernia formation. Look for fat along the cord or fluid in the scrotum.
