Sultanpur Uttar Pradesh : 5-6 goons brutally beat up Muslim youths while forcing them into chanting religious slogans. The goons are seen using filthy language while pressuring the victims to chant slogans. They continued beating the victims even after they begged for mercy.
After the video went viral, @sultanpurpolice released a statement saying 2 accused have been identified and will be arrested and sent to jail.

For the past 2 years, the youngsters of Ilkal, Bagalkot have been continuously striving to ensure that the Anjuman-e-Islam Ilkal functions according to the Waqf Common By-Laws 2017, and that a proper General Body Election is conducted to form a new committee. However, the Ex- President, Usman Gani Humnabad, who has reportedly remained in the position for nearly 20 years, does not want elections to take place and wishes to continue in the same post. Because of this approach, the innocent public of Ilkal is being misled through false assurances and misinformation.

Furthermore, the Bagalkot District Waqf Office is also allegedly supporting this situation. Whenever the youngsters of Ilkal submit objections or complaints, instead of forwarding them to the Karnataka State Board of Auqaf for proper consideration, they are allegedly ignored or misrepresented. Such actions are making it extremely difficult to follow the legal and procedural framework laid down under the Waqf rules.

Through this message, I sincerely request the concerned authorities to review the matter of Anjuman-e-Islam Ilkal immediately, and issue an order for conducting fair and transparent elections at the earliest. I also request that strict directions be given to the District Waqf Officer to stop misleading the public and ensure that due process is followed in accordance with the law.

Why did no one speak up for that Muslim girl? And after everything that happened, what is your stand against this incident? @SpBagalkote Will you take legal action against the tourist who insulted and humiliated the Muslim girl?

@CMofKarnataka @HKPatilINC When many tourists enter the temple premises wearing footwear, why was only she targeted? Forcing her to give an apology letter publicly and making her cry in front of everyone was completely wrong and unacceptable.

If beef export companies are operating in BJP-ruled states like Uttar Pradesh, then serious questions must be asked. Is there no concern for the same ‘Gau Mata’ and religious sentiments that are constantly spoken about in public speeches?

Before preaching to others about cow protection, the BJP should first stop accepting donations from beef export companies through Electoral Bonds. Reports of 30 crores Every Year donations from such companies expose a clear contradiction between political speeches and actual practice.

If cow slaughter laws exist, then they must be implemented strictly through the Constitution and legal authorities, not through mobs, self-proclaimed vigilantes, or people taking the law into their own hands. No individual or group has the authority to assault, threaten, or harass citizens in the name of cow protection.

The Supreme Court of India has already directed state governments to appoint dedicated police officers in every district to prevent vigilantism and protect citizens from cow-related violence. Those directives must be implemented sincerely and without bias.

@CMofKarnataka At the Badami Caves, a female tourist insulted a hijabi Muslim girl working there in the name of Hindutva.

I want to say to that tourist woman, you are not the Constitution of India, and you have no right to mock or question someone else’s clothing or speak to them disrespectfully in such a manner. This is India, where only the Constitution and the rule of law prevail, not the hateful words of psychologically influenced Hindutva extremism.

@CMofKarnataka On 24/04/2026, at around 6:30 PM in Sector No. 2, Navanagar, Bagalkot, a group of five stray dogs brutally attacked a 6-year-old girl named Aska Muhammed Rafiq Sagar. Another girl, Ayesha Jamkhandi, was also bitten in the same incident.

@DMAKarnataka Bagalkote City Municipal Commissioner and @DHFWKA the Department of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Services, do the lives of poor children hold no value in your eyes? Despite repeated complaints, why have such dangerous stray dogs been allowed to roam freely?

@SpBagalkote I strongly demand that all such stray dogs across the Navanagar area be immediately rescued and relocated to proper shelters to prevent such incidents in the future.

I also urge the District In-Charge Minister, @RB_Timmapur_inc to take responsibility and ensure that both affected children are provided compensation of ₹50,000 each from the government. This tragic incident is a direct result of negligence and irresponsibility on the part of government officials and the Bagalkot municipality.
