And now when I ask it, it get's it correct.
Anyone who thinks linearly about progress in AI rather than exponential growth is doomed.
@nntaleb Read it in your own condescending tone:
You idiot you do realize there is this thing called “reversed” causation?
When you get cancer, your cholesterol levels drop as a result. That’s the reason behind the J curve.
Why do you have to pretend you know everything when you don’t?
Our mission is to make it easy for anyone to deploy a robot to help them in the real world
We wrote an intuitive guide to understanding modern robotics, catered toward an audience that understands technology but not AI robotics
We hope that this short blog post embeds in you the core principles that will bring further curiosity.
🚀 Excited to share Mirage: latent spatial memory for video world models.
No RGB point-cloud render-and-encode loop. No pixel-space detour.
Just store 3D memory directly in latent space.
⚡ Up to 10.57x faster generation and 55x smaller 3D cache. 🧵

Are you still running your robot policies on vision encoders trained purely on static images?
Nowadays, the standard practice in robot learning is to plug in powerful vision models like CLIP, SigLIP, or DINOv2. This inherits a quiet, convenient assumption: “Let mainstream computer vision handle perception, and the downstream policy will figure out the dynamics.”
But let’s be real for a moment. Is this truly the best we can do?
We introduce DynaFLIP: Rethinking Robotics Perception via Tri-Modal-Dynamics Guided Representation.⬇️
🔷 Dynamics upstream: we push motion understanding into perception.
🔷 Tri-modal-dynamics supervision: image transitions × language × 3D flow, fused via simplex-volume alignment (260K trajectories from robot & human video)
🔷 Transfers everywhere: a visual backbone for diverse policies (MLP, Diffusion Policy, VLA)
🔷 +22.5% over the strongest baseline (DINOv2, SigLIP) under real-world OOD
🔷 Open-Source & easy to use

🌟Your static 3D world models are now alive and interactable!
🚀Introducing NeuROK, a neural simulation framework that turns any static 3D object into an interactive 4D asset — no per-category physics, no physical annotations for training.

Another win for open-source robotics! 🔥
@huggingface just released a fully open-source humanoid robot, and you can build one for $2,500.
I'm a huge advocate of open-source in robotics space.
Why? Robotics is too hard to solve alone. So lowering the entry point is crucial. Also, ROS proved open ecosystems create lasting industry standards.
So let's have a look at the new member of humanoids family!
@LeRobotHF Humanoid is a 3D-printed, bipedal humanoid platform designed for real robot learning experiments.
It's a complete and, buildable robot
Anddddd yes, it's a full stack release:
→ Hardware files, bill of materials and full assembly documentation
→ Simulation assets and training environments
→ Runtime tools for calibration and real-world control
→ Sim-to-real identification pipeline
When a part breaks, reprint it. When a design choice doesn't work, modify it and test again.
The whole point is fast iteration on real hardware, not treating the robot as a fixed artefact.
The timing is not a coincidence. As foundation models for robotics mature, the field desperately needs open physical platforms to train, validate and deploy them on.
@ClementDelangue LET'S GO!!!

The cost of sequencing a human genome dropped from $100M to less than $100 in about 25 years.
That's a million-fold decrease, which outpaces even Moore's Law.
We're about to enter the era of personalized medicine.
We’re rolling out an upgrade designed to help robots reason about the physical world. 🤖
Gemini Robotics-ER 1.6 has significantly better visual and spatial understanding in order to plan and complete more useful tasks. Here’s why this is important 🧵
this is actually insane
> be tech guy in australia
> adopt cancer riddled rescue dog, months to live
> not_going_to_give_you_up.mp4
> pay $3,000 to sequence her tumor DNA
> feed it to ChatGPT and AlphaFold
> zero background in biology
> identify mutated proteins, match them to drug targets
> design a custom mRNA cancer vaccine from scratch
> genomics professor is “gobsmacked” that some puppy lover did this on his own
> need ethics approval to administer it
> red tape takes longer than designing the vaccine
> 3 months, finally approved
> drive 10 hours to get rosie her first injection
> tumor halves
> coat gets glossy again
> dog is alive and happy
> professor: “if we can do this for a dog, why aren’t we rolling this out to humans?”
one man with a chatbot, and $3,000 just outperformed the entire pharmaceutical discovery pipeline.
we are going to cure so many diseases.
I dont think people realize how good things are going to get
@nntaleb That’s precisely your stance on Iran! You never ponder why the Iranian regime abruptly cuts off internet communications during a war. You harbor such intense hatred for Israel that you disregard the suffering of others who are unwilling participants in your absurd game.
