About eight months ago, early in my journey at Notion, I submitted a contact form on the @withsableai website and got connected with @Nim_Ravid1
At the time, I was trying to answer a difficult question: how do you build and grow a global consulting ecosystem across 47 countries as a team of one?
My entire career in partnerships had followed a familiar formula. Carve partners into books, hire more partner managers, and repeat. I joined Notion motivated to break that mold, but I needed to find the right tools to make it possible.
When @Nim_Ravid1 shared his vision for multimodal agents that could speak, see, use a browser, and guide people through personalized experiences, I was blown away.
Sable gives us the ability to train and develop partners globally, in any language and at any hour. More importantly, it allows me to shape an agent around the judgment, expertise, style, and patterns I would bring to those conversations myself.
That means more partners can access the judgment and expertise they need to grow their businesses, serve their customers, and help bring Notion to more organizations around the world.
It gives us a way to scale the partner manager, not just the partner content.
Huge congratulations to Nim and the entire Sable team. I’m incredibly excited about what this technology can do today and where it goes next.
Everyone knows marketing, sales, and deployment convert better when personalized to the buyer and their specific needs. Previously you could only scale this personalization via more employees, but now you can scale it with Aidan at @withsableai.
They've unlocked a level of personalization and real time engagement that couldn't exist before the latest advancements in computer use and vision models. We're excited to partner with them, and tell your front office teams to give them a try.
Excited to finally share what we've been up to.
A lot of the work in AI bends in one direction, toward the measurable question of how to make machines more intelligent and capable. Far less of it asks the harder, stranger question of how to make them more human: how to capture the richness of an exchange, an interaction that makes up so much of the human experience.
And so we’ve met the most consequential technology of our lifetime in a chatbot, where interaction is limited to typed, turn-based exchange. Sable's bet is that interaction is too rich, and far too meaningful, to stay there.
I've joined the team at Sable to build the alternative, and to insist that the frontier of this technology is its humanity, and not only its intelligence. It's the most interesting problem I know, and there's no one I'd rather solve it beside than the extraordinary minds I've met here.
Introducing Aidan, your newest AI employee
Aidan is the first computer-using AI built for realtime conversation
We’ve raised $45M from @sequoia and @8VC to bring Aidan to the world
@NotionHQ and @DecagonAI already use Aidan to run customer interactions. This is how @withsableai works:
