the most important skill you need to learn in business and medicine is being able to update your mental model in the face of uncomfortable evidence.
as of right now, i believe the evidence shows that consumer health apps are… yeah. dead. and i say that with conviction, after spending time playing around with @openclaw

Every company needs killer Skills library. Not a folder in GitHub that 10% of the company knows how to use. A living library the whole company benefits from.
The best deal review skill gets better every time a sales rep uses it. A great research skill gets discovered instead of rebuilt 50 times. Creating a skill should be as easy as asking to create something useful from based on the context of your work. And the top skills (and skill creators) should rise to the top.
Create, share, collaborate on, discover and understand usage of skills, organize them into databases by team or use case, then use them across any of your agents.
Still early, but the idea is to make Notion the best home for your company’s collective AI skills.
Made a quick demo (all available now)!
how do you incorporate a running program without ruining strength gains? context is that i’m a noob runner that can barely run 5k (i’m slowly building up to it). currently doing squat/ deadlift/ bench/ power cleans etc and bjj throughout the week. would appreciate any strength/ running programs that you guys recommend following!
This was one of the stranger realizations growing up. I thought people would be more interested (engaged?) in what they were doing.
Some are, but a lot fewer than I would have ever expected.
For this flagship episode of the @glp1digest podcast, I invited Emily Field, Head of U.S. Biopharmaceuticals Equity Research at @Barclays, to discuss the most important questions across the GLP-1 market.
One of the most immediate is why two oral GLP-1 launches have played out so differently in the US.
Foundayo’s early launch data has been lacklustre, while the Wegovy pill has got off to a much faster start. The delta has surprised many, including me.
Is it the power of the Wegovy brand? Novo Nordisk’s aggressive partnerships with DTC platforms? Or something else entirely?
In the episode, we discuss:
- What explains the difference between the two launches
- Where the emerging muscle-sparing market is heading
- Why IQVIA data can give a misleading picture of true US prescription volumes
- And much, much more
Here’s a short preview.

Excited to welcome Eric Verdin, MD to #NGL2026.
Dr. Verdin is President & CEO of the Buck Institute for Research on Aging — the first independent research institute in the world devoted solely to the biology of aging — and his lab's discovery that the ketone body β-hydroxybutyrate blocks HDAC enzymes gave the field one of its clearest molecular bridges between fasting, metabolism, and aging itself.
In his Day 1 session on Translational Geroscience at Next Generation Longevity 2026, Dr. Verdin brings that same mechanistic rigor to a room built for exactly this kind of conversation: clinicians, founders, and scientists working through what the geroscience literature actually supports — and what it doesn't, yet.
Translating the evidence — not the hype: that's the standard this program is built around, and few scientists embody it as directly as the researcher whose own discovery turned a wellness fad into a mechanism.
Join us in Osaka this October to hear how one of the field's most-cited labs is thinking about fasting, metabolism, and the biology of aging — and what it means for how we practice.

i cannot express to you how bizarrely large the rewards of consistently writing opinionated + technical essays are. it is good for your own brain, it is good for your life, and it is—i am increasingly realizing—good for society at large. the best part about it is that if you take it seriously, you have virtually no competition. this is not true for almost anything else! for most other things worth doing due to their unreasonable benefits, you not only have to take it seriously, but you also have to have a natural or learned talent for it. this is not true for writing! any monkey with the capacity to speak at all has all the talent they need to do useful writing. the rewards are basically guaranteed too; i struggle to name even a single person who walked this path and didn't end up somewhere dramatically more interesting than where they started. yes, it's hard, but it's really not that hard. you just need to try once, and then try again, and then again, and then it will feel like a normal part of your day
