@DJSnM What I haven't understood is how 1km2 arrays of solar panels behave when micrometeorites arrive, and how we avoid the keppler effect. It's not like you can just do collision avoidance at that scale
@British_Airways I booked a flight with you on Monday, Bologna to London. You took the money but haven't sent me a confirmation. How can I get this resolved?
@ethanbdm Hi Ethan. Just listened to your podcast with 538. It struck me that a potential solution to your watermark challenge (for stills anyway) is that an image tagged AI would also have a low res original attached, so you could see the extent of change
@bookingcom Hey https://t.co/F4PyB5p9qt, how am I supposed to get in touch with you? Can I raise a formal complaint here or just interact with a human?
@bookingcom Hi. I booking an apartment in Crete, and you've taken the money but not sent me a confirmation email. Unfortunately I can't contact customer services as I don't have the reference number or pin
@jcsteen@TheLawyerCraig Nope. Schools aren't back here. Likely a response to all restrictions being lifted, but unclear. More of a plateau than a rise (though it is rising). Possibly what endemic Covid looks like.
@DawsonMiki@sailorrooscout@ariehkovler But deaths are rising? 7 day average has gone from a min of 6.6(may 30) to 17(today). Low absolute numbers, but clearly rising. And numbers of admissions seem stable. But no. in hospital and no. In intensive care both rising.
@sdharv19 @canucks4419@TheLawyerCraig This is the source for both of our figures. https://t.co/wcFpeSWcjK
Check it for yourself. On the very narrow timescale selected in the above tweet, he is correct. On a slightly wider one, he is disingenuous.
@canucks4419@TheLawyerCraig Actually, hospitalisations (number of intakes per day) have gone from a 7 day average mid may of 98 to 222 Jun 17th (latest available data). People in hospital 930 to 1386 on same time frame. Low numbers, but much more than 10%
@Reece_17 @MickieThePoet @TheLawyerCraig 2/2 vaccines restricted by age here (only just opened to 18+) so v few young people have full course. Young people are less likely to be hospitalised.
@Reece_17 @MickieThePoet @TheLawyerCraig Hmmm. Cases in the UK have risen by a factor of about 8. Hospitalisations (which lag) have doubled (new intake). Deaths are rising from a very low base, so hard to tell extend. Difference in hospitalisation likely due to age range of cases: delta cases much younger 1/2
