.@getpostman is now natively available in your favorite coding agent!
The new Postman CLI is designed to bring API engineering for agents:
1️⃣ Works in Git and your code repo - Just drop Postman where your agent lives and works.
2️⃣ No GUI - Work in your coding agent. Bring up the Postman UI for review and approval.
3️⃣ No sign-up - Get started right away. Sign-up when you have to save your work and want more.
Install once, work in your agent. Run npm install -g postman-cli, then postman init. This loads Postman's skills into your coding agent so it can create collections, write tests, and much more. Available as a plugin for all coding agents!
The skills cover the API lifecycle: find APIs your org already has, generate tests that catch regressions, mock an API before it exists, watch live endpoints for downtime and drift, run checks in CI on every commit, and run performance tests.
You can also extend the abilities of your agent with the Context Graph. An agent often sees only the code that is accessible to them. The Context Graph API gives it a map of your team's infrastructure, APIs, and services, and how they depend on each other.
As your agent works, you stay the reviewer. Your agent does the work from the command line. Open Postman when you want to review or approve it.

“When will we stop telling women what they should wear?”
Kriti Sanon’s question is a good one. I genuinely liked it.
But behind this question, she conveniently hid the fact that no one is telling her what to wear at home, while on holiday, while going to bed, or when she wakes up in the morning.
This was a commercial advertisement made to sell a product. It used a Hindu festival for that purpose.
When people found it inappropriate, it was quickly turned into an issue of “women’s freedom.”
If it is your freedom to wear whatever you want, then it is equally someone else’s freedom to call something vulgar if it appears vulgar to them.
On Holi, Surf Excel shows that it is a Hindu girl’s responsibility to escort a Muslim boy to the mosque without letting colours touch him.
On the Mahakumbh, HUL depicts elders being abandoned.
By Diwali, Tanishq starts having problems with firecrackers.
Fabindia launches a “Jashn-e-Rivaaz” collection for the occasion.
Manyavar suddenly finds fault with the ‘Kanyadaan’ ritual in Hindu marriages.
From Karva Chauth to the mangalsutra – is there anything connected to Hinduism that has not been criticised?
These brands want Hindu customers. They want the festive markets of Hindu festivals to boom. They freely use Hindu symbols to sell their products.
Yet they refuse to portray the festivals as they actually are.
On Bakrid, goats have been sacrificed for centuries without anyone demanding a new interpretation every year.
Why then do Hindu festivals need constant reinterpretation? Are you religious reformers?
Hindu festivals are not laboratories for your social experiments.
Whenever criticism arises, it is reframed as either a women’s issue or a moral issue in an attempt to make Hindus feel guilty.
And yes, Kriti Sanon never forgets to wear a hijab on Eid.
At that time, all her lectures on clothing freedom conveniently disappear.
If you want to sell jewellery, detergent or clothes, just sell them.
Why this compulsion to rewrite Hindu traditions for the sake of your marketing?

Today we're introducing Postman Fabric Gateway—an AI-native agent gateway.
Here's why it matters: agents will consume APIs at several orders of magnitude beyond traditional apps. Traditional API Gateways are not designed for AI agents. While many legacy vendors have tried to support agentic workloads, Postman customers have been asking us about something that is AI-native and doesn’t have the baggage of pre-AI architecture.
Postman Fabric has been designed from the ground-up for agents with support for MCPs, CLIs, as well as APIs - both AI and deterministic APIs.
We are building this with a modular architecture as we are still in the early innings of AI and there are many new patterns that are likely to emerge. One thing is certain though, agents are driven by APIs, and you can’t have agent-ready APIs without a purpose-built gateway.
Through Postman Fabric, customers will be able to:
1️⃣ Have a single plane to manage all MCP servers - public or private
2️⃣ Expose internal APIs as MCP tools
3️⃣ Centralize SaaS credentials
4️⃣ Govern agent traffic and run policies at a consumer, route, or service level
5️⃣ Deploy on cloud or in a hybrid model
We are opening up early access soon - let me know if you are interested in the comments or a DM!
CTO: We lost our strongest backend engineer today.
Founder: The one handling infra and outages?
CTO: Yes.
Founder: Did a bigger company hire him?
CTO: No.
Founder: Then why quit?
CTO: He said he was exhausted.
Founder: From the workload?
CTO: Not exactly. From watching the same database bottleneck, same queue lag, same deployment mistakes come back every month.
Founder: That happens in fast moving teams.
CTO: He agreed. What he could not accept was that every fix was temporary because nobody wanted to slow down and clean the system properly.
Founder: We had deadlines.
CTO: He had standards.
Founder: So he left because the work was hard?
CTO: No. He left because he was not doing engineering anymore. He was just containing damage.
The best engineers do not hate hard problems.
They hate preventable problems that management keeps normalizing.
"jeet ki daleel pe khadi hai bharat" - harbhajan singh.
"bharat ke east me bhi hum hain bharat ke west mein bhi hum hai" - akash chopra
one guy has no idea whether it's "dehleez" or "daleel". other one is stating some god knows myserious geography. and when called out, these clowns believe someone is running negative PR against them.
listening to these junks makes me feel so lucky to have experienced hindi commentry of arun lal & maninder singh who made early 2000s cricket so iconic with their voice.
Today we're introducing a new Postman platform built for the agentic era.
Similar to what happened a decade ago with the platform shifts of cloud and mobile, AI agents are driving the platform shift today. Agentic systems take probabilistic actions at runtime and also consume more API calls than traditional software.
APIs are the authoritative interface between agents and the real world. Getting them right has never mattered more.
The new Postman is built for that reality: Git-native workflows, an API Catalog that serves as a live system of record across your entire organization, Agent Mode (native AI that works end-to-end across your Postman assets and connected repos), and a full-stack of capabilities to help teams take their APIs from dev to prod for internal, external, and agentic use.
This is the most significant platform evolution we've shipped. I wrote about what this all means for our users here: https://t.co/fIb2dHOTXz
Welcome to the new Postman.
We spent two years deploying AI agents across every function at @getpostman. Same problems kept surfacing: no standard way to describe a complete agent, poor observability, unclear ownership, no clean way to shut one down safely.
An agent isn't a prompt. It's a distributed system with a probabilistic core. You have to treat it like infrastructure.
Today we're launching Astro AI: a production-grade control plane for AI agents. Registry, guardrails, observability, lifecycle management. Packaged as versioned artifacts.
Stay tuned, we will be open sourcing the core packaging spec and tooling at: https://t.co/5RUlh6xUwR

The new Claude Sonnet 4.6 is now live on @getpostman Agent Mode!
Anthropic's newest Sonnet model brings major upgrades to planning, reasoning, and code generation tasks.
Weirdly proud of the intro of my latest article.
When you look beyond abstractions, you see the true reality of computation. When you can do that, the complexities cease to exist.
The article gives a crash course on the fundamentals of computer organization, with a full picture of translation and execution of high-level code on the hardware.
@whirlpool_india Immediate response as in? I'll get a reply within this decade I guess? Zero work ethics of whirlpool employees. Just shut down operations already. Or there is just a AI who is handling the twitter handle without any actual support staff in background 🤦
@whirlpool_india horrible support experience for AC. I was influenced to get a AMC warranty extension which costed my 8k, but now everything that has to be repaired is not covered in AMC. Installation and gas filling costed me 5.5k rs.
@asutosh_97@whirlpool_india I agree, I have the same situation they never turn up to resolve the issue. I have raised my complaint 3 months ago but no one has visited till now. Worst service @whirlpool_india
