3 months ago, I quit my job to chase a dream: to build an affordable, convenient, plastic-free coffee maker.
Grateful for everyone who has reserved ❤️

This is a huge indie art win. Hand distributed without a traditional big Hollywood distribution deal in place. This is nearly impossible but it shows the audience is not being served what they want by studios. Independents know better and can turn a profit even on a micro budget ($3.5 million budget).
AI demonstrates the sunk-cost fallacy perfectly: Just one more "this doesn't work!" prompt, you think, and it'll fix it!! But often it won't, and now you've wasted 30 minutes begging that you could have spent learning how to actually fucking do it yourself.
I didn't want this to be the start of my #TIFF50 , but you've managed to do it again @TIFF_NET!
I was in line, with a signed in account, got to the front and then for no reason you kicked me out of the line. I had to open an incognito window and line up again putting me 600 people back.
At this point, my main picks are gone. Okay, no worries, there’s loads of great options. So I start going through my tier B movies. I’m adding to my cart and then the cart was reset. I try to search using your “search feature“ and that doesn’t do anything. I try to limit the filters, but guess what? Those don’t update anything. Fortunately, browsers have built-in search which were my saving grace once I realized all the functionality you built does not work.
Now I'm adding stuff to my cart and there's no way to get back to selecting movies. I mean, If there is a way, it’s not obvious and I'm not going to chance it because I don’t trust your janky platform to not kick me out so I have to got cart > continue shopping every time.
Then, there was this one special moment where I selected a seat and then removed the selection and you deleted everything in my cart. Outstanding!
Seriously, my offer stands that I will build you something better. Get off whatever you’re using because it doesn’t work and people like me who paid a premium and want to celebrate movies just get screwed because of your technical incompetence….still love TIFF, but despise your online platform.
@TIFF_NET I love TIFF, but good lord your online ticketing platform has to be the worst thing I've ever experienced. The incredible part is how every year it actually gets more unintuitive, convoluted, error prone and difficult to use. Hit me up. I will fix this for you.
@Mike_Rot@TIFF_NET That's a good question! I didn't use bundles because the films I wanted to see aren't classified as "regular" so the bundle wouldn't have helped me. I might try opening a tab to get in queue and then a separate tab for your bundle if you want to explore.
@Mike_Rot@TIFF_NET & Sons, Bad Apples, Nirvana...and 4 or so of my other picks. There's still loads, and these are "premium" events, but it's still a bummer.
Please stop building SPAs. Just because your pages all have the same header and footer, it does not mean you have a single page app. Over 90% of the SPA projects I’ve worked on should not have been SPAs (and were markedly worse because of it).
