First Obama said there would be a red line when chemical weapons would be used on civilians in Syria, and yet did nothing when it happened. Now we know Majd Kamalmaz (an American psychotherapist) was murdered by the Assad regime, and yet @POTUS remains silent.

Bashar Al-Assad must not be forgotten. He must be brought to justice. One of this century’s most brutal war criminals.

Syrian women have been at the forefront of the revolution and they remain leaders in shaping Syria’s future.

From holding key government positions to ensuring freedoms for all, their role is more critical than ever.

As Syrians draft a new constitution, enshrining rights for all, women will continue to be a driving force in the pursuit of democracy.

For years, SETF has been the only NGO providing aid to the isolated Rukban camp.

Now, for the first time, we brought NPR to the Rukban camp. As the first Western journalist to visit, they documented the incredible resilience of this community and the critical impact of our work.

Listen to what NPR has to say about our life-saving efforts.

Mazen’s body has been found—brutally murdered by the Syrian regime. Assad bears the primary guilt, but the Dutch government is jointly responsible for his death. Mazen lived nearby; I saw him just a short while before he disappeared. I’ll share more details below later.

Before Assad forces are fleeing their holds, they are making sure to empty out prisons, human slaughter dungeons filled with political detainees who have been there for upwards of 10+ years.

ANYone who defends this with a single word is a sick twisted animal.

[Sami Hamdi سامي الهاشمي الحامدي @SALHACHIMI]

Assad is actually the 'rebel'.

He rebelled against the Syrian people. He rebelled against their wish to live with dignity. He rebelled against their right to live without oppression.

Assad's rebellion is what tore Syria apart.
