I was clearly wrong about Anthropic. They are obviously currently the leader in AI. No company has released a model as good as Mythos/Fable and they will undoubtedly have Mythos 2 ready soon.
And I would never cut them off in a way that hurt them badly, even as a competitor. That’s not my style.
Tesla open sourced its patents and we made the Supercharger network available to all competitors, even though we could have made it a walled garden.
SpaceX launches competing satellite systems with no increase in price or use of unfair terms.
Even my worst enemies can attack me on this platform.

On June 30 2026, researchers announced materials that extract drinking water directly from desert air, powered by nothing but sunlight.
The mechanism:
A hygroscopic material, one that naturally absorbs moisture, is engineered at the nanoscale to capture water vapour from air, even at 10–20% relative humidity.
Desert air at 10% humidity still contains 1–2 grams of water per cubic metre.
Over 24 hours across a square metre of material: 2–5 litres.
The solar cycle drives the process:
• Night: the material absorbs water from the air
• Day: sunlight heats the material, releasing the captured water as liquid into a collector
No electricity. No pumps. No infrastructure.
Current prototypes produce 1–3 litres per kg of material per day.
Scaled to a rooftop panel: enough for one person's daily drinking water.
2 billion people currently lack reliable access to clean water.
Most of them live in areas with abundant sunlight and some atmospheric humidity.
The physics existed.
The material engineering is what just caught up.
Actual number of printed features on this chip that are “sub-1 nanometer” = ZERO
This naming convention makes absolutely no sense and is highly misleading.
The world’s first sub‑1 nanometer node chip is here.
Delivering 70% greater energy efficiency, this breakthrough powers a new era of computing that’s more capable while using less energy.

SpaceX has exercised the option to acquire @cursor_ai in an all-stock transaction with the goal of building the world’s most useful AI models.
For the past few months, SpaceXAI has been jointly training a model with Cursor, which will be released in Cursor and Grok Build soon.
We look forward to working closely with the Cursor team to advance our frontier AI capabilities
The art of lying with statistics:
1. Compare H-1B workers to the entire U.S. workforce to make the number look tiny to conceal sector specific-effects.
Then, when called out:
2. Compare heavily concentrated IT/tech H-1Bs to **every** STEM profession under the sun so the percentage magically shrinks.
Today, U. S. Steel announced plans to build a new direct reduced iron (DRI) facility at our Big River Steel Works site. This investment represents another step forward in strengthening our next-generation steelmaking capabilities.
By advancing our vertical integration from our iron ore mines in Minnesota to our steelmaking facilities, we are enhancing our ability to provide our customers with a reliable supply chain partner capable of delivering high-quality, sustainable steel solutions.
Importantly, our partnership with Nippon Steel has accelerated this project by nearly a decade—bringing this capability online faster and strengthening our competitive position for the future.
This is the power of combining our integrated and mini mill strengths.

🚨 @USGS has found that the Appalachian region of the U.S. contains enough lithium to replace 328 YEARS of imports!
Thanks to world-leading mineral science, permitting reform and renewed investment in domestic mining, @POTUS has reclaimed America's mineral independence.
xAI is assembling the most powerful AI alliance ever attempted.
Reports reveal active talks between xAI, Cursor, and Mistral AI — Europe’s leading AI startup — on a three-way partnership that would combine:
→ xAI’s Colossus supercomputer and Terafab compute infrastructure
→ Cursor’s industry-leading coding models — with SpaceX holding a $60B acquisition option
→ Mistral’s advanced open-source LLM technology
The goal: build the most capable AI coding and agent platform on Earth — and close the gap with OpenAI and Anthropic faster than either sees coming.
The groundwork is already laid. Mistral co-founder Devendra Chaplot joined xAI in March to lead pretraining. SpaceX already has Cursor on a $60B leash.
No deal confirmed. But this isn’t a rumor — it’s a strategy.
Grok is #1 in reasoning, hallucination rate, instruction following, medicine, and voice.
Now xAI wants the coding and agent crown too.
The AI race going to get a new frontrunner
Aurelius has been awarded a contract under $151B MDA SHIELD, IDIQ to push development of the Archimedes laser weapon systems for the next phase of counter UAS technology. The award follows our recent testing with the 25th Infantry Division and U.S. Army Hawaii and the acquisition of our 430 Acre testing facility.
Our first product Archimedes detects, tracks, and engages drones / other active aerial threats. Archimedes has been consistently proven in live field tests and this win will continue to expand our opportunity set within a long term critical defense program.
USA has 54 nuclear plants that produce over 20% of the nations power alone but instead of building like 200 more and having enough carbon-free power for the entire nation they choose to put these ugly fucking windmills that take up space and make the landscape ugly
@MosestheMeuse@lancevideos When the republicans did the same when dems had control they also blocked it. Both parties are hypocrites on this. The history goes over a hundred years.
SpaceXAI and @cursor_ai are now working closely together to create the world’s best coding and knowledge work AI.
The combination of Cursor’s leading product and distribution to expert software engineers with SpaceX’s million H100 equivalent Colossus training supercomputer will allow us to build the world’s most useful models.
Cursor has also given SpaceX the right to acquire Cursor later this year for $60 billion or pay $10 billion for our work together.
Intel is proud to join the Terafab project with @SpaceX, @xAI, and @Tesla to help refactor silicon fab technology.
Our ability to design, fabricate, and package ultra-high-performance chips at scale will help accelerate Terafab’s aim to produce 1 TW/year of compute to power future advances in AI and robotics.
It was fun hosting @elonmusk at Intel this past weekend!
