Growing up in the Poconos and now living in the Lehigh Valley, it’s weird seeing people online talk about not being able to afford homes, not being able to find jobs, etc.

Everyone I grew up with who wants to own a home does, everyone has at least a decent job, and there’s plenty of upward opportunity for anyone who wants to push themselves a bit, on top of as you said, plenty of great reasons to be here otherwise.

I’ve been all over the US, and traveled to quite a few corners of the world, and I’ve yet to find somewhere that would make leaving PA an easy choice.

A buddy was helping me for a convention, drove to my house and we filled his car with everything needed for my booth. We’re getting ready to drive two hours to go setup the booth, and he says “uh…you don’t have anything to fix a flat tire do you?”

No, but I have a guy. 30 minutes later we were on our way to the convention, his tire patched by my guy 250 yards from my house.

It’s good to have guys, isn’t it @jagersombrero ?
