पिछले महीने एक ग्राहक अपनी पत्नी के PMJJBY क्लेम की जान���ारी लेने आया। मैंने पूरी चेकलिस्ट मिलाई, फॉर्म दिया और कहा- "ये सब ले आओ, यहीं से क्लेम भेज दूँगा।" अगले दिन वो आया और बोला- "सर, फॉर्म आप ही भर दो।" मैंने तुरंत फॉर्म भरा और सारे डॉक्यूमेंट्स स्कैन किए और जनसुरक्षा पोर्टल पर अपलोड कर दिए।
​लेकिन सबमिट करते ही पोर्टल ने 'अधूरे डॉक्यूमेंट्स' कहकर क्लेम तुरंत रिजेक्ट कर दिया! दिमाग घूम गया, क्योंकि चेकलिस्ट के हिसाब से सब परफेक्ट था। खैर, ऊपर अधिकारियों (CO) से बात की, तो उन्होंने कहा- "आप ये सारे डॉक्यूमेंट्स हमें मेल कर दो, हम HO भेज देंगे क्लेम के लिए।" मैंने तुरंत सारे डॉक्यूमेंट्स मेल किए और ग्राहक को समझाया कि 1 महीना लग जाएगा।
​मगर ग्राहक हर 2-3 दिन में बैंक आ जाता। म���ंने CO से बात की तो जवाब मिला- "आगे भेजा हुआ है, अभी कोई जवाब नहीं आया।" आज हद तब हो गई जब वो आया और सीधे गाली-गलौच पर उतर आया! बोला- "तुम लोग AC में बैठ के बस ज्ञान देते हो, पैसे खाने हैं तो साफ बोलो, बिना खाए तुम लोगों से काम नहीं होता।"
​उसे काफी समझाया कि पैसे सीधे तुम्हारे खाते में आए��गे, हमारा इसमें कोई रोल नहीं है। क्लेम नंबर भी दिया, पर वो मानने को तैयार नहीं। जिस दिन वो पहली बार आया था, मैंने पूरी लगन से उसका काम किया था ताकि पैसे जल्दी आ जाएं।
​लेकिन जनता को बस अपने काम से मतलब है। जब तक काम करके दे रहे थे तो सब अच्छा था, जरा सी देर हुई तो 2 मिनट में सब 'चोर' हो गए। सच तो ये है कि बीमा करना और क्लेम सेटल करना इंश्योरेंस कंपनी का काम है, पर बैंक वालों को बलि का बकरा बना दिया गया है। ऐसे बर्ताव के बाद किसी की मदद करने का मन ही नहीं करता मेरा तो। 🥺😔

When raising genuine issues becomes a crime…

Expose problems → FIR
Speak up → Harassment
Demand accountability → Legal threats

FIRs are being filed simply for highlighting publicly available information and speaking up for banking staff.

Is this how the system responds to transparency?
Instead of addressing staff harassment, mismanagement, and real ground-level issues, energy is being spent on silencing voices. But intimidation won’t work.

I have not created or fabricated anything, only shared what is already in the public domain and circulating widely.

My fellow Bankers now I need all of you and if you are with me then I promise:
→ I will continue to speak.
→ I will continue to raise issues.
→ I will strongly fight this lawfully.
→ And I will not let you down.

Yet, nothing changes.

🚨Banks will be closed for 14 days in April. Sounds shocking, right?

But here’s the reality 👇

This kind of headline (like the one published by @JagranNews) is highly misleading.

They add up:
→ National holidays
→ State-specific holidays (Kerala, Delhi, etc.)
→ Weekends

and present it as if banks across the entire country will be shut for 14 days straight.

That’s NOT how it works.

👉 A holiday in Kerala doesn’t mean banks in Gujarat or MP are closed.
👉 A regional festival in Tripura isn’t a nationwide shutdown.
👉 Weekends are already known and planned.

In reality, for most people, banks function normally except standard weekends + a few local holidays.

This is not journalism. This is clickbait.

Misleading headlines create unnecessary panic among customers and businesses. People rush to banks thinking services will be unavailable for half the month, which is simply untrue.

If this reporting were accurate, banks would be closed almost 6 months a year!

It’s time media stops prioritizing sensation over facts.

Responsible reporting matters.
