The Hon’ble Supreme Court stayed tree cutting around KBR National Park. But instead of respecting the spirit of that order, pavements around trees are now being dug up, exposing roots and effectively pushing these trees towards a slow death.

Hyderabad is already battling severe groundwater depletion, rising temperatures & shrinking green cover. Yet the government seems determined to leave no stone unturned to destroy trees and clear the way for KBR-choking flyovers.
