@venturedan Making a proactive effort to tell people about the problems you’re solving and the potential solutions often informs if you’re taking the right approach. If its not sound, you’ll probably talk yourself out of it and realize it would be poor advice to give them let alone yourself
@Bfaviero I think its important to look back at what you've gotten through as a team and feel motivated by that
It makes you realize that most of the things that could make you feel awful right now, you and your team were there for each other
Lean on your co-founders/team for support
@MattDaviesHD@FaridoKimo Seems like everyone always talked about ‘the best’ sim, but they largely got abundance. Feels like what made it so great back then were the limitations and people working together on what could become real. Abundance leads to boredom and I think most old creators got disenchanted
@_jacksmith@katgleason I think that's a good point, but I'd also say that funding rounds are just a valuable marketing tool to get the company in front of more potential talent, especially with how competitive hiring in tech is.
@JasonRBradwell Balvenie 21 Portwood is amazing, definitely special occasion
Balvenie American Oak is way more affordable and one that most people seem to like even when they didn't like scotch before
Otherwise:
Oban, Bruichladdich Port Charlotte, Angel's Envy, Glenmorangie, Macallan
@darkswordsmantv @mcair01@MSFS_Support There are small remnants of FSX, but its very small. There’s a great whitepaper on Microsoft ESP which was discussing a lot of what this product is doing now, back in 2008, basically that it wasn’t practical without better hardware and cloud infrastructure
@blograle@MSFS_Support If you’re talking about PC, its plug and play
I think Logitech would have to create drivers for Xbox specifically
The HOTAS One is the best control option for Xbox right now
If your updates/content downloads for World Update 6 seem really slow, restart the sim. Some kind of bug going on with slow downloads and updating content if you don't @MSFSofficial@ItsChewwy94
@alive_@AriannaSimpson@SyndicateDAO Aren't there startups offering products to get new companies incorporated (both LLCs and C-Corps)? Obviously you use any of these vehicles for different cases, but seems like its way simpler than even 5-10 years ago now
@jonsakoda Mostly agree. From personal experience it's important when you have multiple ideas that seem like they fit all of the benchmarks to research, validate, and then decide which direction to go in quickly. Sunk cost fallacy is a huge danger for startups.
@TurnerNovak@bananacap any plans to do a deeper dive into what industries you tend to invest in more often and why you commit at those stages for those industries?
@girdley We’ve applied this philosophy to our amazon store; if something gets bought on Friday and its still the afternoon we ship it out, even though shipping Monday would meet delivery expectations.
