@swindonadver This is disgraceful! The parents of those children should be ashamed as they are utter failures. If anyone else finds their sons in a scenario like this there's obviously no point in going to the police anymore.
@SarahisCensored I exercise in my garden, rain or shine, and do callisthenics. Because there are no weights, the kids (1 and 5) can play around me and often try to join in.
Fun and sustainable :)
We’re delighted the police have decided to take no further action against our member Bernie Spofforth, who never should have been arrested in the first place. Had she been prosecuted, we would have paid for her legal defence.
@PolitlcsUK@POLITICOEurope Anyone that has heard how the NHS is run wouldn't want to spend a single penny extra. The waste is disgusting. They truly have no respect for the tax payer.
@Anna_Soubry@elonmusk Public discourse isn't always supposed to be comfortable but if it ever does get too much, the block button is where I go. Some people are here to be provocative, and that's OK. It's up to you if you want to engage with them. Same as on the street.
🚨🇬🇧 THE GUARDIAN CALLS FOR ELON'S ARREST OVER FREE SPEECH
The Guardian's Robert Reich has published an alarming opinion piece calling for global action against Elon's free speech initiatives on X.
Reich suggests regulators should threaten Elon with arrest for "disseminating lies and hate," citing Pavel Durov's arrest in France as a potential model.
The article criticizes "free speech absolutists" like Elon and Durov, aligning with Alexandre de Moraes' censorship efforts in Brazil.
The Guardian's position seems to contradict traditional journalistic values of defending free expression, instead supporting a troubling trend of government overreach in controlling online discourse.

@DJAUDITS I don't know why so many people get angry with you for this. You're always polite, try to educate, and you're simply exorcising the rights that's you have available to you.
If you want your rights taken away, email your MP. They are good at that.
@Sargon_of_Akkad Genuinely, my fiance won't go into Swindon town centre anymore and we are avoiding large towns/cities with our children as much as possible until this craziness dies down.
Don't care about the politics of this anymore. Just want to be informed.
@peterjukes Just to clarify. Free speech is the ability to say something without ending up in jail. If someone lies about you and you end up losing something (an income or reputation), then that's a perfectly legitimate reason to take someone to court to resolve peacefully.
@BritisherPaz49 If more people had the capacity to defend themselves with deadly force, you would see violent crime drop.
An unarmed population leaves a lot of room for crimes of opportunity.
