If insurance company denies preauthorisation why will patient go to such hospitals where inflated pricing is for normal public.

#Thread Pateint is admitted at jupiter hospital and has bought insurance from reliance (currently indusind) 2.5 years back. He got preauthorisation for tonsilitis at jupiter hospital and still after surgery during discharge his claim got rejected from @IndusIndGenIn .

And then hospital gave him a bomb bill of 2.25 lakhs to be paid by himself. This needs to be taken care seriously by @IndusIndGenIn and @JupiterLifeline immd.

Interestingly jupiter hospital baner inflated his bill to 2.25 lakhs because his claim got rejected by @IndusIndGenIn . Differential pricing for same treatment. Estimate of 63k for surgery, actual bill 86k for insurance company & final bill after rejection is Rs.2.25 lakhs.
