@AmyDeMartine Amy I spoke to Jeff Pollard about API security at a conference. He mentioned your recent API talk and recommended reaching out to you for recommended books on API security. What recommendations do you have for someone new to API security?
@strandjs Some sectors are doing good, others have gaps that were unexceptionable 10 years ago. Part of it is lack of staff, talent, and funding. But I think most of it is poor management. An example is deploying of security tools without tuning and quickly move to the next project.
@MalwareJake Division and animosity comes from executive management. They need to play nicely in the sandbox and set the example. If not it becomes a bloodbath with body parts scattered everywhere.
@sfzombie13 @decryptlyfe @J0hnnyXm4s I wish all companies did that. No work from home policies are for the birds. If my devices are in the cloud than I should be able to work from wherever.
@JodyOls02485820 You may be and let me explain. You have about 20 years left to work. Will your new degree increase your income enough to pay for itself within 20 years. For example a 100k degree may cost 200k after interest. That's 10k net or 15k gross additional income per year.
