@KennyBurgosNY City FHEPS has a terrible process. So much disorganization, every employee beats to their own drum and rules, inspectors have different guidelines and then a complete disconnect between DHS and HRA. Then there’s the 4 hour wait on phones to try to get any answers.

@jaymart222 Over 15 months later and still no property coverage in. Bronx. Only able to get liability at a huge premium. Even when I offer a big deductible or for lower coverage just to cover the mortgage and nothing from many agents I spoke with.

@KristyMarmorato They should make it optional for those that can control the composting. Even if you complied with all rules and had a super sorting trash, you then need to police your bins outside til picked up bc bystanders always throw their food and trash on top and we eat the ticket.

@NYCSanitation This should be interesting. Training available for tenants 😂. You can’t even get them to stop smoking in a non smoking building with signs and 311 complaints. You think you can train them to separate 3 types of bins 😂

@gabedsouza13 @NYCCCommonSense It’s hard enough to get renters to do the garbage properly. It can seem basic in nature but many renters don’t care. Throw in buildings or homes that take in voucher holders from shelters and it’s going to be a mess.

@NYCMayor Can’t wait for all the bugs and smell this will cause. Will be great to see all the video clips of inspectors going garbage diving just to find that chicken bone in the trash and not compost so they can meet their ticket quota.
