We remember how the mainstream Tamil media were incredibly biased to DMK government. Now suddenly, he is “concerned” about the state of Tamil media.

It was foolish of us to think a “global banker” would bring something transformative to Tamil Nadu politics.

What breathtaking hypocrisy.

A man whose own political record in Madurai is hardly a monument to good governance now wants to lecture Tamil Nadu about crime, power cuts, the media and what people “deserve”.

Before calling the media “parasitic” and insulting the public, perhaps sit and think why Madurai was allowed to sink to the bottom of national cleanliness rankings.

You couldn’t set your own backyard in order, but now pose as the moral auditor of an entire State.

Governance is measured by what you delivered when people gave you power - not by how loudly you sermonise after losing it.

This is where I feel #BCCI messed up when transitioning from #Kohli. Rohit was never going to be the long term captain of the Indian team. Then why?? Choose a captain when he is 27+, who can lean a team for two world-cups. Not every captain is going to get you ICC trophies.
