@andrewjroger @fburki @Ryan_Gawryluk Alternatively, how do you explain a lineage of aerobic eukaryotes existing for 100s of myr, from pre-LECA to origin of Discoba, gave rise to multiple anaerobic and presumably aerobic lineages and then all the aerobes vanished except “neozoa” (or whatever you want to call them).
