Terrible story told by an Israeli mum @BrandyCMendez in Ireland who was about to give birth from a high risk pregnancy and her doctor decided to lecture her about ‘genocide’. Bravely she told her it was inappropriate and to leave and she didn’t want her care anymore.

This is what demonisation does. It puts ordinary Israelis and Jews in scary positions when they’re most vulnerable. That’s the trickle down impact of hate.

All are threatening to boycott Eurovision if Israel is allowed to perform.

Yuval Raphael, a young woman who survived the Nova Music Festival massacre, where hundreds of young people were slaughtered by Hamas terrorists.

While countries with far worse human rights records, are welcomed on global stages, Israel, the lone Jewish state, is singled out and shamed.

Finally some good news out of Hollywood. While 1200 actors lined up to sign their names against the Jewish people, Scarlett Johansson chose to honor them. In her new film Eleanor the Great she cast real Holocaust survivors. Not as decoration. Not as symbols. As human beings whose presence gives the story truth.

She explained that casting them was never optional. It was essential. With every survivor who joined the project the film became more than art. It became a community.

This is the difference. Some use their platform to erase Jews. Others use it to preserve Jewish memory and dignity. Scarlett Johansson chose the path of integrity. That is what doing it right looks like.
