One of the most underrated health habits:
Break up long periods of sitting with a little bit of movement.
In this study on adults with type 2 diabetes, researchers compared:
- 8 hours of sitting
- Sitting interrupted every 30 min with 3 min of light walking
- Sitting interrupted every 30 min with 3 min of simple exercises
Movement breaks lowered blood pressure and reduced noradrenaline, one of the body's "fight or flight" stress chemicals.
And you really don't need much.
Every 30 - 60 minutes, just get up and move for a few minutes.
STROKE at the age of 34.
Runs 5k on weekends.
Normal blood pressure.
No diabetes. No smoking.
But ONE common stress relief habit quietly tore a major blood vessel and caused a massive brain attack.

When bananas ripen, their stems release ethylene gas, and when it spreads to the rest of the fruit, it will quickly cause the fruit to rot.
That's why the plastic wrap around the stem keeps the ethylene gas contained so the bananas stay safe.
I will never stop shouting this from the rooftops: the most underrated skill you’ll ever develop is the ability to genuinely enjoy your own life. Not someday, when you’ve healed enough, earned enough, or finally figured everything out. NOW. Because your life isn’t waiting for you somewhere in the future—it’s being built in the way you experience this ordinary Sunday, this cup of coffee, this conversation, this sunset, this breath.
A reminder from Atomic Habits by James Clear:
“The purpose of setting goals is to win the game. The purpose of building systems is to continue playing the game. True long-term thinking is goal-less thinking. It’s not about any single accomplishment. It is about the cycle of endless refinement and continuous improvement. Ultimately, it is your commitment to the process that will determine your progress.”
My favorite line from Atomic Habits has been living in my head rent-free:
“It doesn’t make sense to continue wanting something if you’re not willing to do what it takes to get it. If you don’t want to live the lifestyle, then release yourself from the desire. To crave the result but not the process is to guarantee disappointment.”
Skills that have nothing to do with money but are worth dedicating an immense amount of practice to:
- Charisma
- Metacognition
- Critical thinking
- Sitting with discomfort
- Articulating what you believe and why
- Changing your beliefs when presented with new information
Almost nobody actually practices these and it shows.
The biggest cheat code is sweating every day. It boosts blood flow, accelerates collagen turnover, flushes toxins through your pores, and triggers heat shock proteins, which are great for skin elasticity and anti-aging. Daily sweating is the cheapest health routine on earth.

I wore an Apple Watch, Whoop, Oura, and Fitbit Air at the same time for a week.
I expected the data to be similar but did not expect this.
Here's what every wearable owner needs to know:
I’m increasingly convinced that the ultimate sign of growth is faster recovery. You still get upset. You still make mistakes. You still have bad days. But you return to center faster. Apologize faster. Reset faster. Learn faster. Fast recovery compounds.
