My guy got some work in this weekend. Still a little rust to knock off but other than a few walks over his two outings he was dominant. No hits, nothing out of infield. 3 ks.
@IndyDrew5 locks are sale/ Swelly/ strider/ elder. I think more than being the “best” option I honk we’re looking at who still has options left so we don’t lose anyone because everyone healthy is a rare occurrence that still likely won’t happen. JR/ AJSS/ and Waldrep have options left
@CJNitkowski Everybody is looking for reasons to be ticked off. If yaz is ok then it’s a non-story. Byrdie is a good guy trying to show the moment, which was a big one. Most of the people upset were calling for yaz’s head last week.
@grantmcauley 💯. He was the unsung hero of last night. Dipping into our bullpen in 2nd would’ve impacted our entire bullpen. Plus he set us up for our comeback
Tyler made his season debut last night after battling back from a fractured ulna bone on 1/6. He was on a 30 pitch count and fastball only restriction. He went 1 2/3 innings, no hits, 3 k’s, 1 BB, and 1 HBP. Proud dad at how hard he worked to get back out there.
@DaleMurphy3 is the kind of person I want my son to try to be like . . . In life (and in baseball too). He was the iconic player of the 80’s. It’s past time.
