@FidiumFiber Your specialists attempted to contact me for a few times. However, I cannot hear what they are saying. It is clear they were not calling from the US, and the quality of the voice connection makes it impossible to make out what they are saying. Dial-up support in action.
@FidiumFiber sells fiber internet, but the support experience runs on dial-up: ignored web tickets, broken mobile login, speeds often 50%+ below plan, and phone system matching me to someone else’s address. Impressive failure stack 🔥🔥🔥

Day 1 of @cacheon_ai is in the books. Stressful? 100%
We shipped, broke things, and found multiple exploits. All in one day.
That is how it is supposed to go. We are building the infrastructure that makes inference competitive with centralized providers. That is not a small problem. You do not find the real edges until real miners are running real models on a live subnet. We found them fast and want to patch them even faster.
Day 1 stress means people care enough to try to break the system. That is what makes this product stronger.
Evaluation and emission are paused until the fixes are in. More updates before end of week.
To every miner who stayed in and flagged issues: thank you!
@markjeffrey@ridges_ai I gave ridges and claude code (opus 4.6) the same challenge (a complex code refactoring). They functionally produce the same solution, ridges was a bit slower but this was minor. I'll do a few more A/B tests like this - but looks great so far
@mogmachine@flickyobean@DrocksAlex2@taostats Yeah, https://t.co/MVd04KQOmM team cares about its users. That's why we were the first to implement this feature. We are very glad that you appreciate our efforts.
⛏️ TAOHash (SN14): Community-Owned Mining Pool
Miners on subnet 14 have built a community-owned Bitcoin mining pool that peaked at 5 EH/s shortly after launch, representing 0.55% of Bitcoin's total network hashrate.
Unlike traditional pools where operators keep all fees, ALPHA holders "will" own the pool. The 2% pool fee is claimable by ALPHA holders, creating shared ownership instead of corporate control.
Miners compete based on share value rather than raw hashrate, earning both BTC rewards and ALPHA tokens that represent pool ownership stakes.
Learn how community-owned mining works on TAOHash: https://t.co/j6IStzpdXk
Next up: Smart contracts for automated BTC rewards to miners and pool revenue distribution to ALPHA holders, and a hashrate rental marketplace.
For any company wanting to benefit from Bittensor, @latentholdings is the one stop shop for:
- Launching subnets (docs, tools)
- Trading and research / analytics (@taoapp_)
- Liquidity solutions
- Staking for commodities
- Much more cooking 🍳
Bittensor transcends “crypto”.
🛡️🔏✅ https://t.co/Ol8MtOIFl2 is now SOC I compliant! Financial reporting controls secured. SOC II (data security & privacy) coming shortly! Huge milestone for the leading and fastest-growing Bittensor subnet DEX & analytics platform. 📈📈📈
3 days ago we wrote about how @TAOHash had hit nearly 2 exahashes per second with only 11 active miners. Now it appears they have hit 4 exahashes per second with just about 19 miners. We can't even imagine what this subnet will achieve at this pace in 12 months time.

NEWS: We’re hiring 3 more folks to join our team of 8 superstars @latentholdings — we maintain most of Bittensor core / toolchain, ship https://t.co/EM5xE1wDtH, steward Subnets 14 (@TAOHash) and 5 (launching soon) and a couple other stealthy projects to be unveiled soon.
Our three core focus areas are:
1) Open source toolchain and core of Bittensor itself. This will never change and is a huge part of our focus. 3 out of the 5 top most active code contributors to Bittensor work at Latent. The other two are the founders of the network.
2) https://t.co/EM5xE1wDtH — we have a huge roadmap ahead and heavily use a myriad of AI tools to accelerate our execution.
3) Subnets — We do not plan to launch dozens of subnets. We expect to focus on a very small handful and raise the bar of quality and standard in the network as to how extremely powerful in incentive mechanisms can and should be designed, nurtured and scaled over time. We believe that introducing new categories of computational incentives to Bittensor are not only healthy but necessary to expand the understand of the Bittensor language to many digital commodities beyond inference, training and raw compute / data / predictions.
If you are a very brilliant, cracked, chip on shoulder (we all still have it), humble, high agency, super driven, deeply curious, passionate, mission driven and high integrity human… please reach out.
