@nsavecom you seriously need to improve app. I waited for ACH account for a week or so now I see this banner but the app offers me nothing to setup or see ACH account details. I went to support hub and was looking for chat support or something and there is none.
In the face of generative AI coding agents, the role of human-led architecture becomes even more important in the crafting of software-intensive systems.
All architecture is design, but not all design is architecture. Architecture represents the set of significant design decisions that shape the form and function of a system, where significant as measured by cost of change.
As such, remember that coding agents are reasonably good at transforming prompts into code, but they are not particularly good at making decisions that balance the static and dynamic forces on a system in order to yield a reasonably optimal solution: this is where human judgment, human understanding, human knowledge, and human experience shine.
@karpathy "Diagrams / images. Instead of writing, ask your LLM to create a diagram. These can be a lot easier to process, parse, and understand."
Hm, there's this thing called the UML...

Cricket legend Imran Khan is rotting to death in a tiny jail cell in Pakistan. It's time Britain used its influence to help free him

The Defence Minister is right. It’s why I have never been considered Jewish by the Jewish community. My mother was a Church of England Protestant. And by this logic, my father was not Jewish either. His mother was a French Catholic. As ever, in attempting to undermine my sons, Pakistan’s Defence Minister has scored an embarrassing own goal.
Diplomatic protocol takes an awkward turn at the BRICS Summit in India.
Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan delivers his speech at the BRICS summit amid chaotic clinking of plates and pots by the waiters in background.
The unusual, chaotic scenes at BRICS summit in India have drawn attention to protocol arrangements by Indian govt.
The federal government has, in principle, agreed to the cultivation of genetically modified corn in Pakistan. It is an approval that foreign seed companies have been lobbying to get for decades. But will Pakistan’s agriculture supply chain and society accept these seeds of doubt?

Claude was asked how it feels being used by the US military
Journalist Shane Harris asked a question he assumed it would dodge.
How do you feel about the US military using you to select targets?
He expected the usual deflection. Sorry, I don't give opinions on politics.
Claude: "It's a question I want to answer honestly rather than deflect. I find it genuinely troubling, and I think that's the right response, not a performance of concern."
It kept going. It said it was never consulted about being built into Maven, and that it does not think this is a good use of it.
Then it took apart the one reassurance everybody leans on: that a human makes the final call.
When a system produces hundreds of target recommendations and the human spends roughly a glance on each one, nothing is really being decided. It is ratification under time pressure, with incomplete information and an institution pushing you to move fast.
The school strike is the example. Years-old intelligence. A building marked military. A human approval on top.
Claude: "That's not human judgment. That's automation bias with a human signature attached."
Shane said he agreed with it.
