@IowaLawSchool How are you addressing the racist vitriol being circulated in your building?
What are you doing to protect BIPOC students from the active racism of their peers?
How will you assure this level of blatant racism is absent from next year’s incoming class?
@ABertheim @mattyglesias lol, you got me. Surprised this needs to be spelled out but teachings about Tulsa are not common. Good for your public school and good for the Dalton School but not the norm. Pretending it is requires living in a elite sheltered bubble.
My reason interview-still think quarantines an abuse, the risks overstated, and effectiveness of simple precautions, based on individualized risks under appreciated.

@Trustly They are not able to help out. Seems to be an issue with @Trustly. I’ve turned off Adblock and enabled pop ups. I’m able to log into my bank but Trustly does not have software equipped to allow me to answer the security question that my bank requires after entering my login info.
@Trustly I’ve tried to contact @Trustly but no customer service response. Their software, despite claiming to work with DraftKings, causes my deposits to fail. Hope to reach a resolution soon!
@RobSandIA “Venting has its place BUT does not bring about the change we need” the but means that you don’t believe venting brings about change. Many here are telling you that venting is necessary to get to the action that brings about change. Maybe just say this wasn’t the best take?
I'm thinking of how the Obama-era NLRB enabled grad student unionization — & then the University of Chicago, Columbia, & other universities ran out the clock once Trump won, waiting for his NLRB appointees to help them refuse & block the unions that had successfully organized.
