@nikillinit If people COULD shop and not be penalized for it this way, they would. In Mich I'm on $9K deductible ACA plan (self-emp). One of my Rx costs $200/3 mos using ACA/Optum and $60/3 mos w/ GoodRx. I'm betting I won't reach my deductible and go GoodRx. This is stupid and depressing.
I was laid off from Twitter today. I was the designer in charge of our new rebranding to X.
I learned so much in my 2.5 weeks at the company but I’m excited to see where I land next.
If you’re hiring a self taught, junior designer please DM me. Graphic design is my passion!
With construction “season” in full swing, sign up to receive road closure notifications at https://t.co/N1ZNoYWbod.?utm_source=twitter&utm_medium=social&utm_content=ap_0yesswxsoj The city also provides road closure notices to WAZE, a free app.
“The lesson here is that traffic is not an inalterable and irreducible quantity dictated by nature; it’s actually very dynamic and elastic. People readily change their travel behavior in response to the availability of road capacity.” 💯

Most people don’t know much at all about HIPPA, except as a term that broadly refers to an expectation of patient privacy. Amazon is intentionally misleading people using the Business Associate status to dodge the regulation to gather the data. Good work @geoffreyfowler
Amazon has a new low-cost health service called Clinic.
But there's a hidden price: Your privacy.
Before you can sign up, you have to sign away some of your HIPAA protections to Amazon.
You agreed to what?

Never forget, a 13-year study found that protected bike-lanes led to a drastic decline in fatalities for all road users.
ALL ROAD USERS.
And painted bike-lanes? No safety improvement at all. For sharrows, it’s safer to NOT have them.

@Rachel_Bax Under the well-known and understood circumstances this is an issue that should and could have been avoided with a little thinking ahead. Or planning. Or whatever that sort of thing is called that congressional Dems don’t do very well.
