I wasn’t going to comment anything relating to Charlie (Chuck) Hendry’s death, but somebody brought it up to me at church and I felt too callous not to say anything at all.

I had no connections with Chuck other than that I met him at Charlie Kirk’s Memorial last year, I sorta forced him into X platform when I posted one of his videos, and unfortunately, him and I had a car accident on the same road, one intersection away from each other.

It’s terrible. Truly awful that this happened.

He was a leader in getting the message of the Restored Gospel out. Many members in the Church watched and still watch his videos to learn how to defend the faith unapologetically.

He was, to us, what Charlie Kirk was to the political right, which is why Chuck’s death has likely motivated, inspired, moved some of us to do more in way of social media to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Some now feel they should start a podcast or YouTube channel and that’s awesome.

Incredible that in the short life he lived, he made such an impression on so many to start speaking up and sharing the Gospel message, even in death.

That is a life worth living, however short.

In honor of @RestoredTruth8 - I give you the seminal moment in the First Vision of Joseph Smith. Chuck sadly passed away in a car accident this weekend.

He was a strong defender of the faith and every video he produced started with these words:

“I saw a pillar of light exactly over my head… above the brightness of the sun, which descended gradually until it fell upon me.

It no sooner appeared than I found myself delivered from the enemy which held me bound. When the light rested upon me I saw two Personages, whose brightness and glory defy all description, standing above me in the air. One of them spake unto me, calling me by name and said, pointing to the other—This is My Beloved Son. Hear Him!”

We won’t forget you anytime soon Chuck.

What a great loss for our earthly family, but a immense gain to our heavenly family. Chuck has received a new calling and accepted it. He’s now testifying and teaching of Christ to the spirits that need a strong witness. You will be greatly missed Brother Chuck
