@Kostastsale Also an IoC published by an external company doesn't mean it's and indicator for your org. So many times malware is polymorphic and the bad IoCs never show up. But behavior does. Important skill to know.

@bandholz Respectfully disagree. It's a false dichotomy. There's not some arbitrary limit to correct answers. Blurring your background is as much a solution as "making" a space. It just comes down to the permanent effects on what is ultimately my private space (home, office, life, etc.).

@ChervonaKomanda @NetworkChuck That's the point. I think if you're running LP at your company most people don't know why this is a big deal and just slinging FUD is not useful. That's the real point I'm making. Give some solutions that the average person can implement.

@PruvenTech @NetworkChuck That's my thought - you pay a company to do a job and expect it to do that job correctly. In this case LastPass did some things critically bad (why isn't EVERYTHING encrypted?). Everyone has to trust someone along the way, the key is to do solid due diligence. Hosting is hard.

@attrc @bettersafetynet This mentality is what's keeping people out of cybersecurity (gatekeeping). I think a hard truth is that everything you mention can be taught a whole lot easier than teaching someone to overcome their pride and bad habits.
