literally my only wish for this world is that we wake up and start to value life (human and not) as more important than profit
it shouldn’t be that radical of a stance but APPARENTLY IT IS??!!
one of many grudges I’ll never let go of is being infuriated at Keith Law for mansplaining to me that glyphosate is safe even though it was already public information that Monsanto ghostwrote the unfortunately highly cited article that demonstrated its “safety”
In 2020 I was one of 7 dems that won a district that Trump won, so I held a series of listening sessions with people who voted for Trump and voted for me to understand their actions. I reread the transcripts yesterday and much of it felt like it could have been said today. THREAD

if there’s one thing today is making me realize, it’s that i am so confident in my beliefs. i LOVE the empathy i have for others. i love that i care more about basic human rights than the cost of groceries. i love that i voted to move forward instead of voting to stay divided.
my self care plan for the day: I’ve been too busy texting voters to bother to tidy my house, so plenty of stress-cleaning to do. Also keeping Tums within an arm’s length at all times.
1. a vote is not a valentine, it’s a chess move (and one side clearly hates LGBTQ people, drag, etc.?!)
2. it would have been so easy for you to put one those Harris/Walz camo hats on and call it a day but alas 🙄
Chappell Roan on why she hasn't endorsed Kamala Harris:
"I have so many issues with our government in every way... There are so many things that I would want to change. So I don’t feel pressured to endorse someone. There’s problems on both sides."
