@AlexBerenson Gay marriage is not "solidly" accepted. It failed decisively by popular vote in both Hawaii and California, two of the most gay tolerant states in the nation. Gay marriage has been forced, by law, down the public throat. An honest plebiscite would reveal sharp divisions.
@picchiorri@elonmusk Presumes universal intelligence. And perfect communication. Unfortunately, ability, especially intelligence, is not uniform. Envy aggravates and exploits these differences. Greed destroys hope.
Enlightened capitalism is the closest to your dream.
@Hodwand51411@BulwarkOnline@Carrasquillo I must be stupid...what are you trying to say? I listed the policies of the Left that Trump has thwarted. Isn't that what you want resumed? What Democrats live for?
@Prathkum No, don't think so. More likely AI will increase the "performance gap" both in rate of increase and absolute deltas between differing intelligences. AI is a complex tool that most lower intel people will never exploit (except as manipulated by higher intel people).
@fortweetssake61@neeratanden Smiling at you. The VA Supreme Court has made my point. What the VA Dems did was an unmitigated travesty. Use your brain. Try.
@AvivaKlompas@davidfrum Kamala Harris lost because she was unrelentingly incompetent, if not stupid. To David Frum's point, "Gaza First" is way behind mutilating children or exploding borders or advocating men participating in women's sports or lying about COVID and using it to destroy society.
@JamesSurowiecki Dems far far worse. All of New England no GOP representation, despite having 35 to 40 percent of voters. VA tried to create 10:1 outcome in 53/47 state. CA has more registered GOP voters than any other state all with virtually no representation. Far worse.
@FlHeart@whignewtons@jblairsanders The TX gerrymander (w/ R/D = 55/45) resulted in less than a 2:1 R/D voting line outcome. This was hardball. VA's attempted gerrymander (w/ D/R = 55/45) was a 10:1 voting line outcome. This was a travesty. Some common sense, please.
@PattersonCT@neeratanden@atrupar Pointing out hundreds of thousands of manipulated mail-ins and the synchronized shutdowns across battleground states, the coordinated spikes in Biden 2020 votes. But forget that! Use common sense: Voter ID protects the system. It protects YOUR vote. No ID ONLY enables cheating.
@fortweetssake61@neeratanden You don't care? Taking a near 50/50 state and contriving a 10:1 voting outcome! Where is your common sense? The TX gerrymander resulted in a 1.8:1 outcome. Less than 2 to 1. TX was playing hardball. VA was playing God. No, Stalin. Be rational. Be human.
@JackHoffma74430@CathyYoung63 Do your research. The (deranged) assassin had "No Kings" brochures in his car, and Hortman, on the day she was killed, was the only Democrat in the state senate to vote against the Governor's legislation.
@fortweetssake61@neeratanden They took a 53/47 state and tried to turn it into a 9:1 voting outcome. That's wrong. You know it's wrong. The Texas Gerrymander took it to 24:14, or about 1.8:1. Less than TWO to ONE. Do you understand the difference!!?
