When $QQQ first hit a 7%-plus 6-day decline on Feb 27, 2025 (which is a more fair comparison as both moves are coming off highs), $QQQ was BELOW its 50-day SMA.

This time around, it's actually still ABOVE its 50-day SMA, which makes it less "scary" than the 2025 move that eventually sent it below the 200-day SMA for an extended period.
