@jpers36@ATT@ATTHelp It is most certainly, I manage many sites and all of our sites with ATT primary DIA are not working, i have had to failover a few of our sites that can to different circuits and those not on ATT work fine.
@KnutarMike@GallipoliScott@marksharkey @Lemme_Splain @Rackspace Of 250 mailboxes I have 63 available for download, a new batch just opened up today, biggest mailbox available is 17 GB... There was a batch available last week (Wed) and one this week (today) nothing new between those two days... They must be refreshing once a week.
@Rackspace Well it is a security incident so I assume that means Ransomware, wonder if that means that the perps will get access to all of our email, I smell possible new phishing campaigns with our own emails :(
@Rackspace This sounds like we won't be up for a long time if ever... Please let us know the general idea of what you are dealing with??? Is it Security (Ransomware / Hack) or Hardware or Software???? Please LET US KNOW!!!! We know you know at least this much!!!!
@FirmHarris@masterbeat@JasonSCarter@Rackspace It is a digital record for your internet domain, it typically resides with your Registrar (Like GoDaddy) or with the website hosting service you use. If you have someone who does your website they will know.
@FirmHarris@masterbeat@JasonSCarter@Rackspace Unless you have access to your DNS record you will have issues, this is not something that Rackspace has access to or can help you with. Also keep in mind that it won't restore your mailboxes, just allow you to send or receive new stuff starting when you activate it.
@Rackspace So an environment with 250 mailboxes and untold numbers of distribution groups and forwards and all kinds of complexities will just easily move over to O365... No history I assume??? what about when it comes back up/ if it comes back up.... This doesn't sound workable.
@GregMcDonaldFL @Rackspace Would be nice to know if it is a software / update / hardware / security compromise / other situation.... Saying that you are still in the "Investigation" phase is very suspect, they are sharing very little, virtually nothing with their customers.
@IruskTocco @Rackspace Bigger problem is what are they doing with the email that is going to them right now, is it cached and if they have to restore will we be able to get that?... Lot depends on what the issue is I guess which they aren't even eluding to. :(
@uzererr @Rackspace It isn't bouncing as far as I can tell, I have been testing all morning. Their webmail https://t.co/SlOLc1PHlu was up this morning but is down now. Pinging https://t.co/SlOLc1PHlu receives a reply (server on the other end is up)
@BlakeJo06722934@NitinSud_@Rackspace If all your mailboxes were fully cached to OST and you converted to PST it is technically possible but insanely painful, also you wouldn't get the email that has possibly been delivered since the outage...
