The Janus kinase (JAK) signal transducer and activator of transcription (JAK-STAT) signaling pathway is central to the pathogenesis of atopic dermatitis. In this study, Bold et al., analyze the STAT activation in T cells in the peripheral blood of atopic dermatitis patients and compare it to that of the skin.
