For example, “properly speaking, a dogmatic system can never be obtained from Scripture. One would get at most a kind of Biblical Theology, or whatever else one might call this discipline.”

To be clear, I think what Bav said in the original quote is true and simply what the Reformers meant by what is sometimes called sola Scriptura.
