That is the point: the study only confirms what we already know to be true under normal circumstances. Science is nonsense insofar as it fails to do more.

@Noahpinion This critique is unfair. The social science study is nonsense insofar as it establishes what we already know. It doesn't tell us anything about the laws that govern the situation. A physics study showing that heavy objects fall faster than lighter objects would also be nonsense.
