Fable 5 is state-of-the-art on nearly all tested benchmarks, with exceptional performance in software engineering, knowledge work, scientific research, and vision.
The longer and more complex the task, the larger Fable 5’s lead over our other models.
Personal update: I've joined Anthropic. I think the next few years at the frontier of LLMs will be especially formative. I am very excited to join the team here and get back to R&D. I remain deeply passionate about education and plan to resume my work on it in time.
@astro_reid In this image, also taken from the Orion capsule, we see the divide between night and day, known as the terminator, cutting across Earth. Whether awake or dreaming, we're all here on this planet together.

> get invited to join bullfrog game studio
> too young to be legally employed
> work there anyway
> build ai system inside theme park game
> game becomes a global hit
> turn 17
> offered £1,000,000 to stay and build games
> turn it down
> go to cambridge anyway
> decide games aren't enough

> try to solve protein folding
> humans take years to find 1 protein structure
> alphafold can find ~5 per day
> submit results, win competition
> not good enough

33,000,000 Pounds of trash from ocean
10,000,000+ Meals to people in need
500,000 People getting water from our wells we built
$3,000,000 To war refugees for supplies
$1,000,000+ Clothes to people in need
20,000 Shoes to kids in Africa
3,000 People helped walk again
1,000 Deaf people helped hear
1,000 Blind people helped see
100+ Houses for homeless people
100+ Cars given away
100s Of Dogs rescued
3 Islands given away
1 Orphanage/School/Hospital/Town/Gym/Village Powered/etc
1 Chocolate brand that pays farmers fairly and audits child labor.
And over $50,000,000 given to people NOT including the stuff listed above. All while still in my 20s 🥰

🚨LMFAOOO Nvidia CEO absolutely disagrees with everything Anthropic CEO says:
> One, he believes that AI is so scary that only they should do it
> Two, he believes that AI is so expensive, nobody else should do it
> And three, AI is so incredibly powerful that everyone will lose their jobs, which explains why they should be the only company building it.
