@ConstantGTA If it has no online, maybe, but with all the hacking, cheating, DDOSing (literal crime) and stolen IPs that happened through their game…they don’t deserve that much if it’s gonna happen again.
@DragonbornZane@Prowl8413 That’s not true, Wynncraft, and of course Hypixel itself (owned by Hytale) are both servers that add their own custom content all within the game, no mod downloads required.
@saradietschy Probably not, but I have the 15 Pro. I don’t really need it. I think this years devices are pretty good, but I really don’t understand who the Air is for. It seems more like a big iPhone 16e. It only has one camera. But it’s priced in between 17 and 17Pro because it’s thin?
@michaelstrobel @TheAppleDesign What does an AI tool have to do with literally any UI? You can dislike Apple’s new UI, but an entire software function doesn’t compare to just a UI at all. They’re different things.
@BasicAppleGuy My guy, they didn’t do much this year. Half that stuff is on my iPhone 15, and almost all the rest is expected every year. If we get an iPhone update without an increase in battery and camera improvements then what did they even do? 😛
@stephen_taylor@saradietschy@robertoblake Also what you can see is them asking for permission first and then ignoring a lack of permission. If it was just a similar voice that’d be one thing. But they made it clear they wanted her voice. It isn’t a coincidence what came out sounded similar knowing their intent.
@tibo_maker This exactly. So many companies have come back from worse as long as you’re working to work on and improve your product. You don’t blame the person bringing the bad news for the bad news.
@jchowburn @_roberth_@iamkylehansen It doesn’t even have to be crazy thin and light. It just doesn’t have to be a brick with terrible battery life. Gaming laptops set the bar at the core of the earth. And gaming computers of any kind tend to be expensive compared to work machines, especially outside of US.
@_roberth_@iamkylehansen That still is kinda lame. They could tell the students to get one of four specific computers and models. Or even just one. And it could be a thin and light (within reason) laptop with good battery life and CPU.
@AnshuTechblog Uh…shouldn’t you want OS support to outlast usage so it covers everyone? You don’t want support to end on the day some people are done as many people will lose support. Not everyone can just buy a new phone, my dude. You can have a phone that long with battery replacement.
@DylanMcD8 1) I have, but it’s definitely old tech.
2) It’ll be better long term as you’ll be replacing one cable instead of five. We need to think long term.
3) The exact same thing as when we went from USB 2 > 3. Connector won’t change every time new tech does.
