Hey @ArlingtonVaPD - what has to be done to get parking enforcement on N Pierce St? 1300 blk is narrow and signed no parking but there are always vehicles parked illegally. Tonight ACFD had to spend 10 minutes trying to get out after responding to a call. @STATter911

@sirjamesa12 @wmata The WMATA Board doesn’t have taxing authority (like Alexandria or MoCo do to support their free buses) - they rely on fares and subsidies from the local jurisdictions for funding. Every local gov around here is strained so they’re not going to pay more to WMATA to make rides free

@McFranchisee Little Caesars solved this problem years ago with their pizza portals. You have to enter the code from the app. Wasn’t working on my last visit so cashier asked to see order confirmation. The new McDs by my work has two separate sets of mobile order shelves that they don’t use.

@maustermuhle Glad they appear to be keeping the road. Hope they can fix the seawalls and railings around the peninsula as well. Any news on mini golf? And I guess this officially means the swimming pool is never coming back. That was one of the best public pools before they closed it down.
