I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again, a third time, a fourth time, and a million times more: as long as Messi is still playing football, he is the best player in the world, no matter where he plays or the level of competition around him.

Not Lamine Yamal, not Olise, not Kane, not Mbappé, and not anyone else.

What Messi does is far more difficult and far more valuable than goals, assists, statistics, tactics, or anything else that can be measured when comparing ordinary footballers.

Messi is a level of sustained excellence that lasted for 20 years straight—a level that even Maradona couldn’t maintain for a single month throughout his career.

Messi is the best and most accurate goalscorer in the world even when he’s nowhere near the penalty area, something neither Cristiano Ronaldo nor Pelé ever reached.

Messi’s first touch is better than Zidane’s. His ball control is more refined than Ronaldinho’s. His dribbling is better than Iniesta’s. And the crazy part is that these are the very qualities that made those legends special in the first place.

Messi is better than all of them at the one thing that defined them.

He’s a level above even that fictional player we used to create in PES and FIFA with every attribute maxed out and every ability unlocked.

As Aboutrika once said: “Messi is proof that God exists.”

What fascinates me more than the hat-trick is one question I’d love to ask Messi: How did you make them love you this much? Messi has reached a level with his teammates that even Maradona never truly achieved throughout his career.

The man in front of you is the same player who, after Argentina reached the 2014 World Cup final, had Mascherano walk up to him and say: “I’m tired of seeing you suffer. Today, we’re playing only for your happiness.” When the media criticized Messi, Agüero said they used to ask themselves just one question: “How can we get the ball to him in the best possible position to prove he’s the best?”

Then came Copa América 2021, when Di María said: “I was ready to break my leg if it meant Messi could win an international trophy.” Less than a year later, the level of devotion had somehow gone even higher. De Paul said: “I could go to war for him without even knowing the reason.” Emiliano Martínez went even further: “I’d be willing to die for Messi on the pitch.”

Now we’ve reached 2026. Do you think anything has changed? If anything, it’s become even stronger. Álvarez and Lautaro received chances they could have finished themselves, yet they waited for Messi and squared the ball to him so he could complete his hat-trick.

George Blankenship got so emotional sharing the story of early Tesla

The Model S was the first car from Tesla that was really meant for people to drive like a regular car

It was their do-or-die moment. The production line pushed the company into one of the most terrifying survival stories in startup history

10,000 people trusted and handed Elon Musk $5,000 each without a car or a guarantee - only a promise

The reality behind the scenes was grim. In Q2 2012, Tesla managed to deliver just 12 cars in an entire quarter. Wall Street was circling like vultures, waiting for them to die

With the company’s life on the line, Elon took a massive, unbelievable gamble: he publicly tweeted that Tesla would be profitable by Q1 2013

To pull off that miracle, Elon demanded exactly 4,750 deliveries. The standard he set was absolute. The pressure was so intense that George Blankenship was required to email Elon every single night at exactly midnight with raw survival metrics: how many cars shipped, how many were ready, how many were moving

By the final week, it was pure desperation and unity. IT guys were washing cars. Marketing guys were driving them across the lot. Under Elon's unrelenting drive, job titles vanished. Everyone did everything to keep the dream alive

Then, on the final Saturday of the quarter, at exactly 3 PM...
Car 4,750 was delivered

Blankenship stood on his desk, looked at his exhausted team, and told them:
"What you just did is monumental... not just for Tesla, but for what we're going to do for mankind"

Tesla shocked the world that quarter with an $11M profit. The stock violently surged from $20 → $90

Artemis II has reached its maximum distance from Earth.

On the far side of the Moon, 252,756 miles away, Reid, Victor, Christina, and Jeremy have now traveled farther from Earth than any humans in history and now begin their journey home. Before they left, they said they hoped this mission would be forgotten, but it will be remembered as the moment people started to believe that America can once again do the near-impossible and change the world.

Congratulations to this incredible crew and the entire NASA team, our international and commercial partners, but this mission isn’t over until they’re under safe parachutes, splashing down into the Pacific.
